This Place is the worst. Check in was at 4pm and it is 8pm and we are still waiting for our room to get cleaned. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.

The Staff in general are so warm that they make our stay very enjoyable but I have to give a special recognition to Manager/SupervisorTijerino, I will give her a 5 stars on how she managed the place, employees and customers! Wow! She is the best in customer service. Thank you! I will be back soon with my two little ones

3 month ago me family went here. The food tasted like dog. Food. Don't eat at the Chicken Chalet. The food tasted like dog food that expired 6 millennium ago and gave me explosive diarrhea and salmonella. The only good rollercoasters I got on to was Contor. Flashback should be called Crackback because I felt like it cracked my spine in half. Comet didn't not flip or loop and launched me out of my seat almost killing me. They need better restrainers on Comet. Steamin Demon gave me a headache. Frankie's mine train was too fast for me and big. Someone fell out of the steaming demon which by the way I think was converting people to satanism. Too many old men were on the kiddie roller coaster of Frankie's mine train. Save your money and go to universal, universal is a lot cheaper and is only 15 miles down from dinsey which is the best dinsey park for familis. I had an explosive diharrea on stemimg demon and it fell on a guy. Then later my cousin did while going upside down and me watching him from below it fell on me. Also the guy on comet threw up on me twice 3 time

Don't waste your money or time. Park opens at 11am, bur most rides not until 12pm, some not till 1pm. Rides began closing two hours before park closure! Six Flags as company socks! Don't give them your money.

Stay away from the hot dogs here. Service was great, but the food left a lot to be desired.

What a great day and reasonable price for a 10yr old and his Yaya. I haven't been to the Great Escape in over 15 years, it is a little dated now but a great park for preteens.... Two full day passes (purchased online) $35 each, $20 for a souvenir cup and free refills, $20 for parking. Total $128 You can not bring in any food and only one UNOPENED water bottle. We arrived at 10:30 were let into the park right at 11. We went on all of the rides with little to know lines, then around 1 went to the truck to eat our lunch and get our swimming bags. After we reentered we changed and put our items in a locker $16 for the whole day. Spent the afternoon in the water park and ended our day with riding our favorite ride the Adirondack Outlaw a couple for times. Was a great day and price for the two of us!!!

Rooms were nice and park well maintained but the service was some of the worst i experience in quite some time. check in was at 4:00 but did not great our room until almost 6:00. Restaurants and bars have no service staff. We waited for about an hour to get seated, service was horrible and they got the order wrong on top of it. I would recommend staying elsewhere

If I could give it a zero I would.. where to begin.. oh they decided end of the season they would arbitrarily decide this park has a bag restriction of 12x12x16.. they don't have a way to measure your bag but by eye sight they refuse to let you in even if it is a medical bag or disability. So you know your basic backpack or diaper bag isn't allowed.. yet you can bring a stroller and even wagon into the park. Also it depends on who you are because I saw plenty of oversized bags. They make you and your bag go thru metal detection.. your bag goes thru X-ray. A little overkill. My bag that was ok with Disney, universal, darien lake and Busch gardens wasn't allowed. Makes a lot of sense. I had a young child and I personally have medical issues.. but there was zero exemption. Mind you darien has the same exact event and no crazy restrictions. That is also a six flags park. Mind you all the security guards are wearing bullet resistant vests.. while carrying flashlights. Sorry but that is deceptive because if there is a real threat they could only be used as a human shield. Many food areas were closed. The boofest/scare fest was happening this weekend.. if you have kids you may want to reconsider If you are going for actual rides. Park opens at noon. Things like bumper cars and swings closed. Kid section was closed at 5.. don't worry though because they only had two rides in operation.. and they closed often when the staff person had to give another person a break. So rides like the old cars had three employees and many rides closed due to lack of staff. The scavenger hunt was a joke because I am not dragging my kid thru a park with most of the open rides for older kids. Big props to management.. you hid so nicely the whole time we were there this weekend. Why ever would you step up to help staff like I have seen at other parks like darien. dare I say darien was a five star in comparison to this experience. Also I do give props to them making sure almost all those games were open for people to play.. not the food and rides.. but definitely man those games. Big sign on the way in and thru the park.. no full masks.. yet a customer on rides with a monster mask.. wasn't once confronted by your security then again they were busy bouncing out customers from oversized bags without a way to measure them. You know charging full price was a scam when you know darn well you are only giving about 1/3-1/4 the experience. I have been coming to this theme park before it was six flags, about 40 years and have seen how fast it has gone down hill.. this was a definite won't ever return again situation.

We have been going here since I was a child. I never noticed until recently how racist this park is. My wife of over 20 years has not gone to this park once without being harassed and treated like dirt by management and park personnel. Today for instance she brought a see through backpack with her and the 2 kids so the park would have an easy time of it and be able to see anything she would have in it. They let her in with thanks yesterday but today they decided to harass her about it. They stated the bag was a couple inches to tall. So now they force her to return to her vehicle and leave all her and the children's belongings behind. Grow up six flags, we are a nation of races and don't need your prejudices. Is this the kind of racist behavior we can expect our children to receive as they grow up and wish to visit your park?!?!?!My wife walked back to the hotel and left the see through backpack and put everything in a much larger shopping bag. They had no problem with this. They just waved her through. We also noticed some women carrying pocket books larger than her backpack. Management needs to stop with the, "look at me, I'm the boss", grow up and be professional. Also use your head, if everyone used clear see through bags how much safer could you get!

This theme park is mainly for kids under the age of 13. The good thing is that it's a short walking distance from the Six flag lodge (connecting bridge) and is included with my stay. On the day of my visit the park wasn't too packed and lines for the rides were short and quick. It is mainly geared towards younger kids, so many of the rides are more mellow (fine by me). The food prices here are outrageous- and it's credit card only. They do allow certain food items for younger kids to be brought into the park. Unfortunately, one of my family member got sick during the middle of the rides so the trip was cut a bit short. Overall, a nice theme park

It's small and could use a little more rides, the atmosphere is nice staff as well ok to visit once...

This place COULD be so much better. We just went a on a 90 degree day. It said you couldn't bring drinks or snacks, but in the main park, nothing was open to eat or drink, EXCEPT in the waterpark. But there were no signs or maps to let you know where anything was or what was open/closed. The park is poorly spread out, so I spent alot of my time walking, looking for a drink or snack and would stumble upon a new area of rides- But I had no idea bc there were no maps! Many things were closed. We went to the waterpark at 3pm and thats when we saw all the drinks for sale- Oh, and then found ANOTHER area of rides, but again, no map, so we had no idea. Bring snacks, drinks and do not pay for advanced parking, it ended up costing us $10more than the door.
