The food was good but the cleanliness was lacking. The silverware looked dirty, the menus were tattered, and unfortunately, the amount of flies was very disturbing. It's hard to enjoy a meal while swatting them from your face and plate. To also overhear the staff talking about how sick they had been very recently was a bit of a turn-off.

This was a great experience. My first visit here was very enjoyable. The staff were fantastic. I ordered the Rueben. Nicely thin sliced with great flavor. I recommend this sandwich. Then I saw the homemade pie and had to try it. 😋 it was fantastic. The best I have had in a diner!

If you're looking for a restaurant where you can sit in an elegant setting this is not it but if you're like me and you love a place that's down to earth and has the feel of an old country store that makes good food at great prices and better yet it's farm to table how could you beat that The people are always very courteous and their homemade dressings are amazing
