Wonderful family owned restaurant! The space is warm and welcoming, the food is tasty and well presented, and the service is very caring and attentive.
Family and friends treated me to dinner to celebrate a gallery show opening and Jack's was very busy! In fact they were slammed. But this only highlighted what a great place it is! The staff were "all hands on deck," with one of the owners stopping by our table and chatting with us a few times, and our server was just one of the sweetest and most caring I think I've ever had.
It's a place where you can feel that the staff from the top down and the bottom up genuinely care and want customers to have a great experience. The menu had a range of classic options. In a word: wonderful!!!!

Excellent food and service! We hadn't been to Jack's in a few years and decided to stop in spur of the moment on a Friday evening. We didn't have a reservation and they were pretty much booked, but the host graciously ushered us over to a high-top, which doesn't really work for my arthritic knees so we asked to sit on the couch - it had a little coffee table in front, and he happily obliged.
A lovely and hospitable beginning to a very enjoyable evening at a locally owned and operated establishment. David, our waiter, was very friendly and attentive, and even gladly brought us seconds on their complementary serving of some of the best liver pate I've ever tasted!
We both ordered the pork schnitzel, and it came with the most amazing Sherry-based gravy, minced cabbage, and homemade mashed potatoes. It was all very filling, and we had no room for dessert. But we will definitely be back because this restaurant gets everything right, especially the idea of hospitality, which is all too rare these days. ?

I used to love this place. my wife and I went there fairly regularly. I always ordered the ribeye. last time I was there, it came to the table overcooked. not a big deal, and I was very polite about it, but steak isn't cheap, and I ordered medium rare and came nearly well done.
this would have by no means stopped me from going there, mistakes happen, but when I tried to have the steak replaced, the waiter brought it back to the cook, and the cook got angry and told the waiter to bring it back to me and try it again! then the owner got involved.
I spent my youth working in restaurants, and have definitely had plates sent back, and you just redo them. it could have been that simple. unfortunately the experience left a bad taste in my mouth as it were. no pun intended.
We enjoyed our tasty dinners at Jack’s Bistro. Totally delicious from the complimentary paté to the entrees themselves. My husband ordered his classic chicken parmigiana and I had the scallops risotto. Both meals were perfect. The host was incredibly nice and came to check on us. The waitress was a sweetheart and was very attentive as well. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I tried Jack’s for the first time tonight, and it was a delight! The staff were incredibly fun and pleasant to speak with. Every dish we tried was so tasty, and the layers of flavors were so evident. I couldn’t have asked for a better visit. My chicken piccata was even heart shaped by chance. :)

Visited this restaurant for the first time last night. We were welcomed very warmly by David. What a wonderful neighborhood gem I had the Faroe island Salmon, so delicious and prepared to perfection. I haven’t enjoyed a seafood dish like that in a long time. Service was excellent and great choices on the menu.
