My husband and I tried Jack’s for the first time tonight, and it was a delight! The staff were incredibly fun and pleasant to speak with. Every dish we tried was so tasty, and the layers of flavors were so evident. I couldn’t have asked for a better visit. My chicken piccata was even heart shaped by chance. :)

Visited this restaurant for the first time last night. We were welcomed very warmly by David. What a wonderful neighborhood gem I had the Faroe island Salmon, so delicious and prepared to perfection. I haven’t enjoyed a seafood dish like that in a long time. Service was excellent and great choices on the menu.

Wife and I stopped early on New Years Eve, only half expecting to get a table. No reservation. The host was friendly, welcoming and brought us right in. (They had plenty of reservations, but he was good at his job and knew he could fit us in. Even told us to relax and have a good dinner, so as not to feel rushed.) Food was delicious, and our server, Kevin, was the perfect amount of attentive. Thanks to all who work at Jacks! Highly recommend this family owned, local eatery.

People born into restaurant *family* are a different breed of hospitality. And I mean that in a good way. Old school .Going to Jack's is like warm memories.... good food, wine and staff that go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable.Chris Gates in the kitchen and David at the door is the perfect combination. The staff has years of experience.Their prices are affordable and the atmosphere is low key.I'd recommend Jack's to everyone!

One of the best restaurants in the north country and beyond. Great bartender and wait staff. Management is great and very accommodating. Very comfortable. After my first visit I became a regular. The food is great, presented well and comes to the table hot. They have specials that are delicious as are thier regular items on the menu.

My family and I have been visiting Lake George for years. When our favorite restaurant Montcalm closed down, it's been touch and go finding good dinner restaurants. And after Covid, a number of establishments closed down. Fortunately, we found Jacks American Bistro in Queensbury about a 10 - 15 minute car ride from Lake George. Reminded me of Cheers - a place where everyone knows your name. Whenever some customer entered the restaurant it was like the someone on staff knew them and greeted them by their name. Staff very friendly and professional. Food was delicious! Probably the limited menu helps them focus on making quality food! And pricing is reasonable. The tables are fairly spread out for those concerned about COVID. Recommend making reservations. The only downside is they're closed 3 days. But that's great for the staff who put in a solid days work. Definitely our new go to place for dinner when visiting Lake George.

Really surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff qt this hidden gem! If you're in the mood for great food that you can't get at the chains, this is the place for you. We ordered a delicious blue cheese and cranberry salad that was fresh and tasty. I ordered the pork schnitzel , which was a really healthy portion. My beautiful date ordered q house special. It was chicken stuffed with spinach. Both dishes were delicious. Highly recommend this place. A little pricier than other places in the area but the food was well worth it.
This restaurant is absolutely delightful. The waiter. Dave was super. The owner Dave was extra nice. You felt like you were at a place that you’ve been for many times. But we had only found this place yesterday and it was our first time. They make you feel at home they make you feel like you’ve been a patron of theirs forever! The service was excellent. The food was excellent. we come from Long Island and I’m really sorry that we don’t have a place like this with people like this around in our neighborhood . We know next time we come back. We are definitely coming back here for a visit. I think if you don’t visit them you’re making a big mistake.. Enjoy.Parking: Not much to say it’s a parking lot and you can park right in there.

Very generous liquor servings. Perfect venue for conversation. Fresh, well-prepared food. Excellent service by Tiffany. Old-fashioned menu; recipes that existed 50 years ago. Food was tasty but not exciting. Herbs and spices other than salt and pepper would have pleased me. Pear salad was good. Baked haddock was a very large portion and very fresh; well-prepared. Mashed potatoes were a little salty. Bananas foster very tasty and very sweet; I wish they were a little less sweet.
