went there with my family not too long ago, do NOT go there at night. The workers act like they did NOT wanna work. all they kept saying was can you get this because we dont have that. they might have been telling the truth so i went in the afternoon same people. they need to be fired for bad customer service. theyre lucky i didnt work for the food inspection or code enforcement

The restaurant was clean. Alyssa was agreat cashier. I ordered a big family meal.i had to watch 20 mons but they cooked EVERYTHING fresh. Very friendly. No complaints!

Service was very confused and frustrated. I think she was new! When we opened our food up and started to eat we realized that they had given us 2 orders of fried clams and an extra lg order of waffle fries. (Which we prefer the y get back regular fries, these were LOADED with SALT and PEPPER)

We jokingly call this place “Long John Taco” or “Taco Silver”…
Drive thru customer. Ordered L5 (fish/chicken combo) First, it’s been a few months since I’ve had LJS food, so waffle fries were NOT expected. Secondly, the waffle fries were not edible with the amount of salt coating them. I couldn’t even brush enough of it off to make them edible. Are they trying to give their customers angina or an heart attack? And what is the black stuff? I thought at first it might be pepper, but it more resembles plastic flakes. Hush puppies were the best part of the meal. The fish and chicken were okay, although the chicken might’ve been the smallest piece in the freezer bag. Not sure I want to try here again. I certainly do NOT want the Taco Hell items.

So the last 3 times I've been there 2 out if the 3 they didn't have long johns either open or no one waited on us. 1st time was "We're not running right now" the second we waited at the counter for almost 10 mins without even a "hey hold on" so we left! Today I ordered 2 of the $6.00 chicken meals & got "we currently have no hush puppies" so I finished the purchase because wasn't going to not eat & I was still charged for them! The fact the service is poor & I never had a good experience there is sad. Matter of fact everyone I know has had an issue & im giving up on them getting their act together. I will say the lady who waited on me was very nice & I understand it's not her fault. The taco bell combo that this is long johns is a part of is just as bad.

Went to the location in Queensbury, NY. My husband was pretty excited about going to a LJS. We were both pretty irked that when while we waited, someone in the kitchen was playing vulgar rap (my husband was not impressed) but whatever, fast food is a stressful job and I don't care as long as the food is good. I ordered lobster tail and fish combo, my husband ordered the fish and shrimp combo. He actually had to wait 5-10 minutes before someone came to take his order, there was no one in line. It was almost $30 and when I opened my lobster, it only had 4 small bits and the rest was deep fried crumbs. My husband's order looked either overcooked or the oil just hadn't been changed in days (it was really dark). He almost couldn't eat the shrimp it was so hard. Other service things we noticed were the cutlery wasn't filled, only knives were available and the bathrooms were so dirty. Like, I get fast food is a stressful job but all the small things added up. My husband hates wasting food and he pretty much forced himself to eat it but he was not happy and neither was I. The only regret I have is not being able to take photos. It felt like the LJS was an after-thought in the Taco Bell...

WHEN you can actually order the food it’s delicious. The problem is we have been here twice recently and both times we have been told they weren’t serving LJS at this TACO BELL/LJS Combo restaurant because 1) “the guy who cooks it isn’t here yet today”, and 2) “our equipment that makes the LJS food isn’t working and will be repaired later today”….
We live 30 miles away and just today we were down in Saratoga and thought “well go up to Glens Falls and get some LJS only to be told they weren’t serving.

I recently visited the Long John Silver’s location in Queensbury, and the experience was beyond frustrating. Before heading over, we called ahead to confirm they had both chicken and fish available, as we were specifically craving Long John Silver’s signature offerings. We were assured they did. However, when we arrived and placed our order, we were told neither the chicken nor fish was available.

It gets worse—after some back and forth, it became clear they actually had the ingredients but simply chose not to prepare them. To add insult to injury, we were then informed there were no hush puppies available either. How does a Long John Silver’s run out of its most iconic sides and main dishes? Worse still, how does a location decide they just won’t make the food their customers came for after explicitly confirming availability over the phone?

This level of laziness and disregard for customers is unacceptable. If the staff isn’t willing to put in the effort to serve what the restaurant is known for, what’s the point of even being open? Needless to say, I won’t be coming back, and I recommend others avoid this location as well.

Changed my review from 8 months ago. Every visit since had gone downhill. Yesterday broke me. Ordered fish, got 2 pieces of freezer burnt chicken. Had to grocery shop hangry and then water time getting a refund. Won't trust food quality there again. Too bad the local workers there have to deal the results of poor quality and inventory control.
