Placed our order at the drive thru where they told us they were out of fried and offered extra hush puppies which we accepted.We should have checked the border because when we got home we found out our order was wrong and they didn't include the extra ones promised.When we went back there was a wait to get our order corrected and the employees were not apologetic and after getting back to our car we found out they shorted us again.The wait was so long people were walking out before placing their order.We will never eat there again

You couldn't order Long John Silver's from the self service computers and no body came to the counter to take my order even after alerting the staff and manager to the problem...absolutely awful experience... minus 10 out of 10 ...very disappointing!!!

Where to begin. My complaint is truly a first world problem, but I believe in voting with your wallet, so I will waste my time writing this review for a this fast "food" chain. Other than the absolute filthy doors, interior and condiment counter, making you not want to touch anything in the place, let a lone eat something, here is my biggest complaint.....I rarely go to Long John Silver, but this one is convenient for me and every once in a while I get a craving for it and go, which I always immediately regret afterwards. I really only visit maybe 2 or 3 times a year, and the last time I went was maybe 6 months ago or more. This time I ordered the fish and shrimp platter, which always looks appetizing in the menu picture. But this time, to my surprise, when I received my order and opened it, I thought, did I order a half portion? In the past, the size of the fish and fries almost over flowed the container making it hard to even close the lid. Not so much this time. The fish was at best 2/3 the size as in the past and more likely half the size. With this menu item you get two pieces of fish, which in this case equaled the size of one piece from past orders. The fries looked like a half portion and seem to be made of some sort of leather material they found in the basement, the shrimp surprisingly looked normal size.Of course the only thing that increased in size was the price. So Long John Silver is giving half the amount of food it used to give and charging more for it! Unconscionable.In closing, I recommend you avoid Long John Silver anywhere based on cleanliness, price gouging and food quality. You'll also be much healthier. Shame on you Long John Silver and while it won't make any difference to your future bottom line, you've lost a customer forever. And hopefully many others.Update:The response from the owner must be the same bot generated response to the many negative reviews for this place over the last months and years. It sounds fake. None of the problems have changed in this "restaurant" and in fact it has only gotten worse over time. Avoid it at all costs.

Website states that they open at 11 but in real life Long John’s don’t have food until 12. Just to leave you know I did go back at 12 and they didn’t have any hush puppies or shrimp ready yet.

This place is a joke. There was a man that was trying to order his food on the touch screen and he had trouble asked for help and no one would help him. They didn’t have time. There was no one taking orders for customers inside. I asked a worker if I could order and she said she didn’t work up front and no one would take anyone’s order. Got told the wait for long Johns would be a hour wait. No thank you. They were so rude and snotty workers that was there. We live a hour away and that’s the closest one to go there. I love long Johns but no more will I go there. There has been many times I have waited a half hour or longer after ordering my food. You might as well forget it if you go inside to order because no one will wait on you. People that work there are so rude when you ask them anything. I will not be going there again. The poor man that needed help ordering his food went back to the screen and tried placing an order again that way but I just left.

Twice I've been here 1st time it was all 16 year olds and only 1 person could use the register people were waiting an hour for to go orders Went today they opened at 11 turned long John silver menu board on and told me it would be an hour for long John silvers cause they never turned there fryer on This place should be closed or a new owner should take over awful is an understatement Where I'm from a fryer doesn't take an hour to heat up what is this 1950? Never go here for anything again

At 6:30 p.m. had no fish. Staff said she will have to call a manager to see if they can cook more fish and we would have to wait for them to call back which would take at least 30 minutes to hear the response. Other customers also wanted fish. This will be noted on Trip Adviser. ?

6:30 p.m. we were happy to see a Long John Silver. We go inside to order. The employee says "we cannot take orders for fish because we are out of it. I will call my manager to ask if we can cook more". She left a message for the manager to call back in about 30+ minutes. We are upset that we could not enjoy a fish dinner from LJS. We do not have a LJS in our home town. Other customers left also without fish.
