Place was empty, cold . Waitress seemed sweet. Placed order. Coffee was lukewarm. Blah. Food was served on hot plates by our waitress hanging onto them by her shirts sleeves. Yuck ! French toast had absolutely no flavor. The real butter could of helped ( lol) but it was cold . Maple syurp was not real. Home fries were flavoless. Our bill was $39 and change. +$5 tip. = $43 and change. I usually do a nice tip. I told waitress as i was cashing out everything im posting in this review. Waitress was offering a 50 % discount on our next visit. Told her we will not be back. Never offered a different discount for a terrible breakfast .

You're greeted with missing ceiling tiles and insulation hanging from the voids. Service fine, food, fine. Waitress was sweet. Advertised pancakes (plural) as 5$. Actually 7$ for one. 2 Lumberjack special (19$) and coffees for two adults. One chocolate milk for kid and they shared our food. Turns out two coffees, no refills, and a chocolate milk is 24 dollars. (8$ each) Even though they are listed as 4$ each on the menu. 81 dollars after tip for two adults breakfasts with coffee. Place is for sale and falling apart. Figured they needed the money more than I did and let it go.

Literally the worst experience I've ever had eating out. Our food was never rung in and the server didn't notice for 45 minutes. There was no one else even there. It's not like they were busy. Won't be back.

We had a terrific breakfast/lunch this morning. Great service ,great food ,made with love and care. everybody in there was very nice and helpful. Prices are great and food is great.
Kid-friendliness: They accommodated our two children with great ease. They even let us substitute my son’s french fries for a small salad

New owner bought in December 2023, the food is good for a dinner, has free salad bar, salad bar for breakfast is fruit, lunch and dinner is a whole salad bar. I put up the recent menu. The do party's, wedding, anniversary, baby shower, ext. The back has a medium size party room, and behind the medium size is a much larger room for extremely big party's. The old owner made this place bad but the new owner is putting a lot of money into the place that the old owner made it bad, so go here and enjoy. It was built in the 1940s.

Went here with my family for something different wasn't expecting to pay 85 dollars for breakfast for 4 people. 2 adults 2 children. The food was great. Service was very iffy, my husband wasn't done with his drink or food and they still cleaned up the table before we were ready.

Thought we’d try the “new” Diner House for Mother’s Day. What a tragic mistake. Forty something dollars later for 2 breakfast meals left both of us with food poisoning. Undercooked food at unrealistic prices in a poorly managed and run down restaurant. Horrible experience

The food was good, I'm not a fan of the crinkle cut fries. Nice large coffee cups and good coffee flavor. Building is a little run down, but thats not a complaint, just an observation. Would definitely go here again.
