one of the best chicken sandwiches of my life! great environment and friendly staff. will be back next time i’m in town!
Stopped by on our way to Saranac Lake, this review is purely beer related, but I would definitely be back to try the food. Great location, easy to find with plenty of parking around back. Expansive porch with plenty of seating, good sized bar and even more seating in the dining area. Bartender was super friendly and the beer was top notch (I really enjoyed the dunkel). No nonsense here, great atmosphere and tasty beer, you can't go wrong
First timer at the Ray Brook Brewhouse. I had the pork belly sandwich with an Asian sauce and it was delightful. My partner in crime had the fish and chips and once again she could not finish them so I got to try them it was very good. I had two different beers which were not 90 days and I would have them again. One was the Art Dunkel and the other one was called beer. I’m looking forward to my next visit. I almost forgot we had some very tasty falafel with tzatziki sauce as a starter.
I sat at the bar, received a very friendly greeting and had a few tastes. Settled on the Moon. Great beer, better service!! Could only stay for a couple but the food menu looked great as well. I’ll be back for sure.
Amazing food & beer! We had Calamari and Wings to start, finished it off with the Pork Belly Sandwich and the Chicken Sandwich, everything was fantastic!! Maddie is super kind and had great recommendations! Will be back!!
Amazing food and beer. Friendly and laid back atmosphere. Fast service. I think the beers knocks the socks off the bigger places I've tried in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid.
Food and drinks are very good! We usually stay at the Meadowbrook Campground across the street and walk over. We always leave satisfied! Very clean, friendly servers, and a cozy rustic vibe. We love coming here!
One of the greatest beers in NY!
If only the place could stay open till later times(?)
Been coming here for years, and the quality of beers brewed is always on point!
This place is a great find! Well worth driving to eat here instead of in Saranac Lake or Lake Placid.
Good atmosphere, we ended up having live music for an Oktoberfest celebration which was great.
We had an awesome Bavarian pretzel, great burger with tots, and my wife had their chicken sandwich which was exceptional.
Try it, you won’t regret it!
Sat at bar, had a stout, was good, music playing was a bit loud for the space and made it hard to have a conversation.

Not sure they care about making money. Busy weekend for WHOOP at Mt Hoe and we called @ 6:45pm and they said they close at 7 when the website said 8. Went early the next day, saturday, and only accepting cash, really?? On a crazy busy weekend? This place was turning away so many... Can't trace cash purchases.
Excellent stop along the way. Clean, friendly staff, good food, good beer and reasonable prices.
Cool place to chill and savor a good beer after a hike.
Servers are very friendly. The food is delicious. I especially love their homemade BBQ sauce. Their brews are the best!! I love Danderwalker the best but ArtGarfunkel is a close second.
Very nice service, good beer, food average. Noisy neighbors!!! Entertaining anyhow!!!
