“My wife and I had dinner here this evening. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. When we were waiting to be seated one waitress look like she was having a bad evening. She ended up being our waitress and when she came to the table she was Friendly and smiling. I can say Ashley is definitely a great waitress and very friendly.”

“I wanted to make sure to leave a review for an order we placed Oct 2025. My daughter got married at a gorgeous lodge in Jay, NY. This is about a 35-40 minute distance from Tail O the Pup. I had been in touch with the owner months ahead about a delivery to the lodge immediately following the ceremony that day to feed about 25 people. Communication was excellent. When the day came, I believe that the owner (I’m sorry it was a busy, emotional day and I did not get your name) lacked a delivery driver and drove the food to the lodge himself. Like I said, that would have taken him well over an hour round trip. The timing was perfect and as promised. The food was plentiful, very good, and enjoyed by all. He even threw in some extra coleslaw for free! We thank you for making our day stress-free and enjoyable!”

“The food was the best in Lake Placid. My family and I ate there 3 nights in a row it was so good. I had the Lomo Saltado a Peruvian specialty 3 nights in a row and it tasted better each time. My wife had the home made Peruvian Empanadas and loved them. The addition of the homemade Peruvian sauce was excellent. I also had Cazuena the Peruvian cerveza for the first time and it tasted great. If you are looking for excellent Peruvian food at a good price you are for a treat. Enjoy!!”

“Absolutely divine. In the middle of the meal we got up to make another reservation for the next evening. Great menu with lots of delicious-sounding options. Our party ended up trying probably nearly half the menu including some specials and everything was amazing. Highly recommend the pasta dishes.

“I was traveling for business in the area. My Brisket Sandwich was wonderful. Staff and owner were great. Place was clean. One suggestion season the Mac and Cheese, it just a little bland. I did not ask for extra sauce to season anything. But great place. Very tasty food and your outdoor smoking area is one of the best. Hope this place stays open and I will be back again.”

“We can’t thank Early Dawn Confections enough for baking our wedding cake! We requested a cake that was both gluten-free AND vegan, and they were able to make something that was truly delicious. Champagne cake, blueberry filling, and vegan vanilla buttercream icing… it was perfect. All of our guests, who are neither gluten-free nor vegan, were amazed at how great (and beautiful) the cake was. The whole process, including the cake tasting, payment, and final setup, was a breeze. “Super delicious flaky croissants - would recommend the savoury menu - tried sausage egg cheese and bacon egg cheese, both were really tasty. Blueberry scone was also really good, bit crunchy on the outside but soft inside and not sweet - perfect pair with their good oat cappuccino (I would argue they had the strongest espresso in town after trying 3 other shops) ☕ didn’t have the chance to try their sweet treats but they had wide selections and all looked enticing. No seating available but there’s Mid’s Park across the street to enjoy the pastries.”

The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable and we had the privilege of visiting with one of the owners who was very friendly and welcoming. The server, Carly was also wonderful and very friendly! If you are in Saranac, this is a great place to go! Thanks to our grandson who highly recommended this place! Gonna go back for sure!!”

“my dauther and I sometimes visit this bagel shop and еvery time we are really impressed! The bagels always fresh, perfectly chewy, and came in a great variety of flavors. I tried the everything - absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is cozy. perfect for breakfast. the place is clean. Prices were reasonable too. And chai tea latte - It home made warm, spicy, and comforting - my favorite😋Highly recommend if you're hungry, sad, happy, bored, or just breathing🙂”
