I was traveling for business in the area.
My Brisket Sandwich was wonderful.
Staff and owner were great.
Place was clean.
One suggestion season the Mac and Cheese, it just a little bland. I did not ask for extra sauce to season anything.
But great place.
Very tasty food and your outdoor smoking area is one of the best.
Hope this place stays open and I will be back again.
We visited WSBBQ over July 4th weekend. This place was reccommended by a local. My friend and I had the brisket and several sides. We both said its the Best we ever had. Very friendly, personable owner and staff. If in Lake Placid would definitely go back and if i lived there, id go weekly.
You will not be disappointed. The ribs were perfection. And the beans are hands down the best I have ever had. Get it to go sit by a lake.

West Shore BBQ & Catering is a highly recommended restaurant. The food is outstanding, with incredible appetizers like charcuterie, smoked trout, and smoked herbed meatballs. Main dishes include perfect smoked brisket, tender chicken, ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork, and smoked turkey. A Brisket Sandwich was wonderful, and the meat is tender and just right. Sides are fantastic, including yummy grilled carrot salad, kale Caesar salad with cornbread croutons, roasted vegetables, mac and cheese, tomato and cucumber salad, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, and carrot salad. The sides are light, flavorful, and fresh tasting. The mac and cheese could use a little seasoning. The service is welcoming, friendly, and super friendly. The staff and owner are great, and the staff is very helpful. The place is clean, and the outdoor smoking area is one of the best. They catered an epic dinner for 30, and every last detail was spot on. Prices are reasonable, and there is a nice selection of beverages including a variety of beers. The bbq sauces are all great, and pickled vegetables are delicious.
