This authentic Italian restaurant, nestled in a beautiful area of the Hudson River valley, is a wonderful intimate setting with great reserve Italian wines, bruschetta, burrata, and AMAZING penne alla vodka, tiramisu, cannolis and more made in house fresh every single day. With a family friendly vibe and accommodating staff this place has been a go to spot for my girlfriend and I over the past two years and will be our go to wine Wednesday spot for the foreseeable future! Special thanks to the kitchen and wait staff for an incredible date night

Rude and uppity staff that makes you feel unwelcome, unless you’re one of their regulars. (Kinda ironic, since their website states; “No matter where you live, you’re always home at Savona’s.”) That’s a laughable statement. Food is pretty good though. If you actually want a good atmosphere, go to the Savona’s Kingston location. This is coming from someone who has lived in Red Hook their entire life.

We came here around 6 months ago for a birthday dinner, only got around to writing a review now.Eggplant appetizer and salmon risotto were absolutely perfect dishes. Our server, Nicole, was top notch! She made the night absolutely perfect. Best restaurant service of my life, she went out of her way to make sure that our dining experience was sublime.

Got put on held for 15 minutes and hung up twice on. Finally got my order in for two dinners. Dinner came to $53 just to get home and have bland pene and rock hard chicken soaked in marinara. The breadsticks were also soaked in oil.. and i literally mean soaked.
As a frequent patron for years, I was saddened ti hear that the hostess Karen was let go. She knew who you were when you called for a reservation and made you feel at home when you walked in the door. The owner received a bad review and let her go. I'm not sure we will come back as often as we use too. It's sad that a review could determine your job status. Maybe the person who wrote the review was having a bad day. The atmosphere when we walked in was less to be desired. Not cheerful and welcoming at all. The food is good and the servers are amazing.

Never concerned about anything when dining at Savona's - have always loved everything about any of the locations - never had a bad experience and always come out happy!

Had a great meal here pre Valentines Day. The food and atmosphere were great. The Valentines Day menu was a little pricey, so we opted for regular menu items. The filet mignon was AMAZING! I would also highly recommend the Tuscan Mussels and the fig and gorgonzola pizza. The Mount Etna cocktail was quite memorable. It's definitely a great place for a romantic night out. Savonnas never disappoints. Had a very nice Valentine's Day! Missing some of the staff though which always made us feel like family. Karen, Ali, John. Not the same without them! Though it was great to see Denielle!!!
Food is dependably very good. Service, however, is lacking. The front desk people and the people who answer the phone, are neither welcoming nor friendly. Usually get hung up on when I order by phone without a thank you or goodbye.
