LOVED that this is a family owned restaurant as supporting local businesses is so important. I ordered the salmon combo with 2 additional rolls and pork katsu curry. Everything has delicious and this was the BIGGEST pieces of salmon sashimi I’ve ever had. Amazing portions and value. Will be my new go-to for Japanese in the neighborhood 🫶🏼

This is a cozy mom and pop spot. I came here because I was craving Japanese curry on a Saturday and was welcomed by two kids and the dad would wait on me. The kids were watching a cartoon on television and it made the setting wholesome and cozy. It’s Chinese owned and I haven’t tried the other food items but for the amount you pay, you get a sizable portion and it tasted ok. Not really authentic. I’m going to have to venture farther for authentic Japanese because curry is so bomb when it’s done right. I would return here though to try other food items.

This is an average Chinese-run Japanese place. Decor wise, the place is on the plain side. It was also empty inside but they seemed to get most of their business from deliveries anyway. We had a miso ramen and also a shoya ramen. The portion sizes of both bowls were fairly large. Like with most of these types of places, the flavor was not 100% authentic (slightly off) and the ramen was missing some typical ingredients. The food was still warm and filling and cheap enough. This is a passable choice if you are not picky with your Japanese food.
The sushi was very gooey. The spicy salmon and tuna roll were so soft that it was falling out of my roll. It was overflowing and I could not have finished it. The service was

not able to find any good Japanese so far in the last few days. ??? suddenly want to give one more try somewhere before returning to hotel. ???Shogun seems to be running by a local family. The time I visited was 3pm on Sunday. There were no one there except 5 kids. The one took order was a little girl around 10 to 12. I decided to take away. Afterward her mom started to preparing the food. And then a man returning....No seeing any communication between "staff", but the whole thing is very smooth. ? The food is very fresh. the price is reasonable as here.

To be honest, reading some of these complaints, I’m a little shocked. The food was amazing and the service was great. The owners are very sweet people. I definitely recommend going there and trying it out. I hope to visit again soon
Good as always!
