Not the worst sandwich in my life, but $10 is an awful lot for a ham & Swiss with only a quarter slice of cheese and less than a quarter slice of romaine. There was enough ham.

Placed an order for 2 sandwiches 20 minutes before our train leaves. We never received our order in time to make the train and when we asked for a refund because the sandwiches weren't even started yet, the short guy started yelling at my daughter. The older gentleman was very nice and tried to give us money but the other guy stopped him. So we spent $20 and never received our food. Very disappointed and very poor customer service.

Not even trying.

$6 for instant hot chocolate served by a smarmy manbun. No. This ain't LAX, it's a train station that smells like homeless in a 4th rate city. Get over yourselves.

I choose the chili because it’s already made and on this stop on Amtrak we only have about 30 minutes to get up the escalator, order the food and get back down to get back on the train. This is my second time ordering this combination of the chili w/ cheese and corn chips and I love it!

Stopped in during layovers to and from Boston. Got a ham-egg-cheese on plain bagel both times, both good. The waiting area can feel hectic when they're busy, especially when you're getting ready to board/reboard. Speak clearly, don't hector the staff, and you'll get out of it just fine.

Braced myself for bad/rude service after reading reviews from here, but instead, received courteous and efficient service. Train from Chicago arrived with a 1-hr layover, so there were definitely a lot of people lining up for food. At least 4-5 people working behind counter, being as quick as possible without being rude. Two at the cash register (one card-only machine), and even though at least one person was not paying attention to the announcement that one machine was card-only and tried to pay with cash, lady at the machine was not rude about it and just asked customer to wait for the other machine to ring her up. The gentleman who prepared my toasted bagel with egg and ham (no cheese) gave me exactly that and then walked over to grab my buffalo chicken wrap from the fridge when the lady ringing me up told me that the wraps were in the fridge behind me (I didn't know it wasn't a made-to-order item, and she was just being instructive). I later came back for some sweets, and asked the same gentleman about chocolate scones, and he helped me pick one out. All around decent professional service. As for food...bagel was pretty good. Buffalo wrap was okay, could use more sauce. Scone was decent too. Wanted some piece of fruit, but they didn't have any (only cups of cantaloupe, I think).I do understand what that other person said about the credit card machine though. It is a bit higher up on the counter (I'm 5'4" and could just make out the screen), but when I was rung up initially, I couldn't see any amount... only black screen. I guess she didn't hit some button or something. I was not the only person that happened to, so I know it wasn't just me. So I can understand why I might be tempted to touch it and see if I was just looking at it the wrong angle. But she did eventually put it through when I mentioned the black screen. And I got a receipt for the right amount.

I asked for a toasted, buttered bagel. After waiting forever, I was finally handed a bag by an employee who clearly didn't want to be there. I got on the train, opened the bag, and did I see the toasted, buttered bagel I had ordered? No. They had given me an unbuttered, untoasted bagel. I basically paid more than $3 for a piece of stale bread. I have literally never had a good experience at this place, and this was the last straw. Do not waste your money or your time at this awful place.

Negative 5 stars. The card reader was so high we can't see when it's completed transaction, when I touched to see after inserting my card, the server- who was incidentally an African American stated yelling, don't touch it, I said OK, we can't see, where is it written- don't touch it, he said it's expensive, and turned away. Micro aggressions, No eye contact, no good manners- perhaps the culture where he grew up. Felt that its like A very bad racist type tone and expression. Lesson- Don't let anybody ruin your day- learnt. I have encountered many AAs who are nice, very good friends.I wish people are not present at these food locations, just robots, no people interacting at all, tired of it. Simple things made complex by us, people, I am sure robots have issues. But the mundane jobs needs to people less. Who cares about food, people are the problem, if people and food are good then it's a great place, if people are low class from any race, then food doesn't taste good. Machines only, no people is one problem eliminated.
