It was quiet and a lovely place to enjoy lunch and find peace. Food was delightfully delicious.

Not sure what happened to this restaurant. It used to be great. Now it does not even taste authentic. My chicken tika masala tastes like canned tomato soup. My husband ordered shrimp curry and he always asks for it extra hot. It was only mild. He told the waiter who appeared not to understand or care so then he asked again and they finally brought some hot sauce. The portions are very small and the prices are high. I would not go back here.

A chance meal this Saturday night was the crowning moment of our weekend away. The food was spectacular, everything a taste sensation. The lime cilantro sorbet coupled with the chili chocolate will never be forgotten- do yourself a favor and eat at Cinnamon!!!!

Terrible service, long wait time. High prices for small portions. And the Tikka Masala from a jar tastes better than what you get here. 1 star is too generous.
I can't eat any other Indian food now because Cinnamon is so good. Their Chalat Plat (spelling) appetizer is a flavor explosion. And the tikka masala is unlike any I've had. We go here weekly!!

We haven't had rasam like this since my grandmother passed. It tastes just like hers.
Don't underestimate the impact of running a restaurant that serves authentic food from many different Indian states (and even neighboring countries). It's comforting for practically any member of the diaspora.

Traveled from the UK and visited friends in Rhinebeck. We spent our last night going for a meal at the Cinnamon. The food was very pleasant and prices were in keeping with the area. The decor was fine and the ambiance ok. However the service was poor, our waiter did not appear particularly interested and required reminding of what we ordered when parts of our order went missing. However the part which was particularly poor came to paying the bill, everything appeared normal until I got back to my accommodation to find my card had been charged for the entire group. My friend’s card had been declined but paid through his Apple Pay which was the same card anyway which was strange but was sorted. However when I went back to check this, sure enough they had put the entire bill on my card and also taken my friend’s payment! Seemingly they had a policy to charge the whole amount to the card that was working but didn’t bother to ask me or make me aware when I left especially when my friend had paid as well. When I asked about putting the funds back, this wasn’t possible nor was it possible for the owner to give me cash out of the till. The following day was Sunday so it wasn’t until Monday before it was returned. All I got was sorry and it was always policy to inform the customer that this would happen, clearly not! I wonder what would the reaction have been had I walked out without paying but assuring them I would do it on the Monday, mmmm?
All in all very shoddy service especially when you read their splurge on the excellent service they provide.

Everything was great except when untrained waiter tried to fit all the plates on the small table at once, forcing my daughter to lift her mango salad plate up midair to finish her salad. Not acceptable.
He needs more training
