Check in is at a different location as is the complimentary breakfast. On-site amenities are barely minimal.Well located. Reasonably priced for a short stay.

How the Beekman Arms is associated with such a disgusting property I can’t imagine. My room smelled of rotten milk. The curtains were hanging by a thread. The phone was dead. It reminded me of the Bates Motel. Ick. Don’t stay here. I called the front desk. No response.

Before we arrived we were advised to check in at The Beekman Arms which was easy to find and quickly done. Our room was lovely and warm, the bathroom, while a little outdated, was spotlessly clean with lovely white towels and plenty of complimentary toiletries. The shower was warm and powerful enough to enjoy after a day of walking. Our queen sized bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of puffy pillows, there was a fridge and a coffee machine (couldn’t work out how to use it though) and spare blankets in case it was cold. The breakfast, served at The Beekman Arms, included a very tasty granola which paired well with the yoghurt and banana left on the sideboard. Unfortunately there was no coffee - surely a basic requirement for breakfast? I was most disappointed to have to eat out of a paper bowl with plastic cutlery and drink my orange juice out of a plastic cup. The tables had linen table cloths and napkins so I think simply upgrading to proper crockery, glasses and cutlery will make a huge improvement in the overall breakfast experience. Additionally perhaps a server should be on duty to ensure coffee, tea etc are always available. I would definitely return to The Rhinebeck Village Inn and hope that some simple improvements are made to the breakfast arrangement.

The room was dated and had a musty smell, hence the 4 stars for the room. Everything was otherwise wonderful. The room was spotless, including the towels, linens, microwave, and fridge. It all felt very safe. The fact that it was right next to the Matchbox diner was a delight, and it was a super short drive to the heart of Rhinebeck. Given costs of the area, it was a steal. Staff was always polite and courteous. We used to stay down by New Paltz to reduce the cost of stay in the area, but I think this is our new favorite place to stay going forward!

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door . The room was tremendous, the bathroom was tremendous. This motel is owned by the Beekman Inn and they have updated the entire room we stayed in. The bathroom was new, but no hair dryer and the single use bar of soap made no suds. They could use a better quality bar of soap. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, pillows were fluffy not flat and the floors were tile so you know its clean. The only complaint would be the rod the drapes were on was broken and only one window had a screen. It was a nice fall night and it was difficult to move the drapes away from the open window to sleep in the crisp night air. Other than that it was perfect.

Until today, I’ve only stayed in two rooms on that repelled me so much that I slept in my clothes. Tonight will be the third. After spending several minutes jingling the keys to try and enter, we were greeted by an unadorned room with Stained indoor outdoor carpeting with multiple holes, a dead bug on the bed and strong smell of dog.. The furniture was mismatched and look like it came from Goodwill. Curtains were partially broken, heating unit was rusty and missing parts, and one look at the bathroom made me realize I wasn’t going to dare to take a shower in the morning Granted, I price/shopped for this room but had no idea from the reviews how low brow it was. When I had to move a piece of furniture to find a plug, I wish I could’ve unseen what I found. We were shocked to find a place like this affiliated with the Beekman arms. It seems they should give up the free breakfast and invest that money instead into refurbishing these units. As it stands now, I would not stay here again even if it were free.

Worn out, not will maintained. A Motel 6 would compare as a luxurious alternative... if one were available.

4 stars for value. Very very clean. Heater didn't work, was on or off, no way to regulate temperature. A little rough around the edges but great location, it gave me everything I needed. A comfortable place to sleep.

Terrible place to stay. Do NOT come here, I’d give it a 1/10 if it was possible. There was a terrible smell in the room, there was no effort in making the room look nice, and to top it off there were bedbugs in the sheets (I woke up with bites all over my body). Bugs were also all over the room as well. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this terrible inn.
