I have been to many bars throughout the Hudson Valley. Different bars serve different purposes. Rhinecellar is my wife and I's favorite cocktail bar for datenight. It's cozy, the staff is very friendly, the drink menu is fantastic, the barstaff value well made cocktails and each one is fantastic.

This has the best cocktail I’ve ever had. I think it’s called “In a pickle”. It’s basically a margarita with pickle juice - and it is amazing (if you like margaritas and pickles that is). I love this place. We played about 10 games of pool and drank a lot. Jenny is the best! We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

A perfect place for drinks in Rhinebeck. Cozy, warm lighting with a charming and talented staff behind the bar. I always make it a point to stop in there when I’m in town.

I found that the staff were unfriendly. But I heard rumors about drug sales and use, I was unimpressed.

Love the vibe of this place. Went when they were just opening at 5pm so it was empty. Speakeasy type atmosphere, I almost walked right by it. The drinks were well made. I'll definitely be back.

3/10 very lame. Very pretentious for only having 3 people inside, bartender not acknowledging and over mixes a dirty martini.. bruised the vodka. My friend Elise use to recommend this place and I hope she doesn’t get treated like this.

Last time I was in town this place was closed - so glad to see it open again!I’m not a local, so as a visitor looking for a place to have a dive bar-ish atmosphere with a pool table this was the spot. The vibe was friendly and I found it easy to chat with everyone I met about where to eat, drink, and avoid around the area.Customer service was also awesome. I didn’t get the bartender’s name, but she saw me trying to place an order from behind a crowded bar and assisted me with a delicious filthy martini.Thank you for a lovely evening, I hope this experience is a regular thing for locals and visitors alike.Ps. A water station is a great idea for a bar. One of the most hydrated crowds I’ve seen.

This is genuinely one of these places you might only really experience once. It was slightly hard to find however we persevered and genuinely glad we did. Caleb was the gent behind the bar and really adds to the experience. The locals are friendly and the venue is dog friendly. Fantastic place that only added to the fantastic experience of Rhinebeck…. Also the pretzel is amazing!!!
