The food, atmosphere, and menu are thoughtful and the wine selection is nice. The concept of the restaurant has recently changed completely and is much more relaxed, light, and seafood centric. Top notch eatery in Dutchess County. The bar is extremely classy and expertly tended. If you've got some extra coin and are looking to make your food dreams reality put The Local on your list. Great service. I was disappointed that the expensive red wine I selected came very cold. Our server recognize the issue before serving and recommended letting it warm up but it was just too darn cold. Spot is definitely local. Cozy but full of character. Can't speak to the food, but drinks are on point. Say hi to Robert behind the bar and wax philosophical about Hudson Valley happenings. Five stars will come again.
