With a wonderful selection of local foods and farm goods, art, crafts, and much more, the Community Food Cooperative is a model for all small towns throughout the area and a celebration of all the goodness Central New York has to offer. Comprehensive studies done by independent business consortiums in the last 20 years have demonstrated that for every one dollar spent at a locally owned independent business, 70 cents or more tends to stay in the local economy versus just 30 cents for every dollar spent at a chain store. And if that still isn't enough to get you to visit, let me add that the staff is wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are far lower on many goods than what you'll pay in the more tourist-oriented stores in the area. We'll be back again and again!
Good cuppa coffee and company! Quiche is tasty, too!
Stopped in for lunch- the options were delicious & vegetarian-friendly. I got a mushroom spinach quiche, and my husband got the fried tofu & garlic mashed potatoes- both were great! Co-op has a cute & cozy cafe area to sit in.
Great place for local food, especially local meat, dairy, and eggs...but they have a lot of other things too, including some baked goods. If you're visiting, good place to get some meat for a cookout. They also make espresso-based coffee drinks, which is unique in a small town.
The Co-op is a great place to hang out. But best of all it is an oasis of organic and natural foods in a desert of big box food stores. Homemade soups and other dishes can be found here for lunch and if you love sweets with your coffee, you've found the right place. Love to cook your own? Bulk staples galore. Don't live nearby? It's worth the trip because you can get gifts and crafts after you've done your food shopping. Try it, you'll be back for more!
Such a lovely atmosphere, all items were moderately priced and their iced coffee was good. I can't wait to go back.
Lovely place with good coffee and vibes. A lot of unique delicious items.
Lovely store with good merchandise however the worker and some customers could use some education on mask wearing and proper coverage of baked goods on display in this day of Covid virus!
It was very clean and the lady at counter was nice to talk to.
Absolutely wonderful, wonderful place! Full of local farm produce and handcrafted artisan goods! The co-op also serves lunches, baked goods for breakfast, and has a gourmet coffee bar- perfect spot to visit with friends over a meal. Great for buying a locally made gift and supporting your local, hardworking farmers. This place truly has the community at heart!!!
