“I go to this Subway every day. So it is the best. They know what I want I don't even need to open my mouth. I keep my headphones on while they prepare the sandwich. Only thing that could be improved is that this Subway doesn't have a restroom almost every other Subway does.“

“The Jerk chicken platter and hot wings make this halal stand out compared to others. Always have to get one or the other. The fried fish is amazing as well. The Halal eats burger is fine dining quality.
The portions is outstanding for the price. Never been disappointed with any item.
There is a wait time for items that are not a platter due to being made fresh to order so be prepared for that.
I hope this place keeps its quality and stays open forever.

Parking: The store front is located on a corner with both sides being a no-standing bus stop. But it is Queens so of course if you’re just going to pick up the food it’s perfectly fine. But during busy times those spots may be taken which leads to parking all the way down by Dunkin’ Donuts or in the parking lot of Stop & Shop across the street.
I’be never had an issue but something to be aware of if you’re not from the area.“

“Clean and well organized business. The girl at the front is friendly and good at her job. The best Philly Cheesesteak! I have also tried the Chicky Fries combo and that was excellent. I also like the Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich. Can’t wait to try their Wings as I just heard great things from my co-worker!

“First of all, the food proportions are amazing (i got full from just eating half). The chickies and fries platter are a must try from this place. The man behind the counter recommended to drizzle some green sauce over it, and it was so savory and delicious!!! The burgers and sandwiches are also sooooo good. “First time trying K-Munchies. Came in with my 3yo son and instantly greeted by the husband of the adorable husband-wife duo. Ordered the single smash burger and twist donut with Umma's coffee. He was such a humble and kind soul and even offered for me to wait in the car to which he would bring out the food for us but we opted to wait inside for the food and had a great conversation and a few laughs. Food came out quick and was delicious. Whatever that smashburger sauce is was so good. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed the twist donuts. If you're in the neighborhood and need some comfort food to warm up the soul or be a glutton with a good ol' smashburger, this is the place to be. You also get a bonus of genuinely awesome people serving you.“

“As I walked down the bustling city street, my eyes were immediately drawn to a colorful food truck parked at the edge of the sidewalk. The exterior was vibrant, wrapped in bold hues of turquoise and orange, with hand-drawn illustrations of steaming bowls of terrys and stacks upon stacks of yakis, just what i came for. The name of the truck, "Terry and Yaki" was painted in a playful font, inviting passersby to stop and indulge in something delicious. The aroma in the air was intoxicating—a blend of spices, grilled yakis, and something faintly sweet, it was the terry's. It danced through the evening breeze, tantalizing enough to make my stomach rumble, despite the fact that I wasn’t even hungry.

I didn’t eat there, but the food truck looked incredible, a perfect marriage of design and function. The window was flanked by chalkboards displaying the daily specials: "Tuesday Terrys," "Yakis and Yakis" and they switched it up that day with some "Yakis and Terrrys" Each description sounded like a little adventure, a story in itself. I imagined the explosion of flavors in my mouth—the spicy kick of Terry on my soft, soft mouth, the zesty brightness of lemongrass mingling with the tender terry, the crunch of fried yaki wrapped in something soft yet crispy.

A small line had formed in front of the truck, and the people in it were chatting excitedly as they waited for their orders, their faces glowing under the soft lights that adorned the top of the truck like twinkling stars. "Il take a yaki to go, hold the terry" said the valuable customer. The chef, visible through the window, presumably named Terry, but it might be Yaki i dont know though I dont work there. What do I know however, was how he(?) moved with precision and speed, his(?) hands a blur as he(?) expertly plated each dish. He(???) would glance up occasionally, smile, and exchange a few words with the customers, adding a personal touch to the whole experience.

I could sense that this wasn’t just about the food—it was about the moment, the connection between the creators and the consumers. The truck itself, like a moving beacon of culinary creativity, seemed to promise more than just a meal. It was offering an experience, one that would linger long after the last bite. Even though I didn’t order anything, just standing there, observing the scene, felt like being part of a shared narrative, one written in the language of food, atmosphere, and community.

As I walked away, the scent of the food still trailing in the air behind me, I couldn't help but think that one day, I would come back and finally taste what "Terry and Yaki" had to offer.

“Great service, food was fresh and we received our order pretty fast. There was a minor mishap but the manager was very attentive and immediately responded and tried to make it up to us. Overall I would recommend this place because the service was great and the establishment was very clean.“

While Frites is in the name, this establishment is focused a lot more on meals beyond just fries (like burgers). That’s not a bad thing, I was just hoping for something a little more specific. The Frites in question were okay. A little overcooked and crispy, but perfectly good enough to soak up the alcohol after a trip to nearby Sunken Harbor. The dipping sauce options were limited to a handful, but solid. The location has a few tables in the front. I wouldn’t call this a place where you would want to chill out, but it served its purpose. They also had fancy lemonades, which was a bonus.

“Stopped here on a whim. My wife and I were going over to Texas Chicken and Burgers across the way for tenders, but saw the sign for this establishment and decided to come inside. We were rewarded by the very friendly service and great food. We got chicken over rice platters and an order of 4 lemon pepper tenders. Let me say that the amount of food they give you for $9.95, is greater that what one of the more visible Halal chains give you for $14.95. And it was just as good, if not better. The fried chicken tenders are amazing! They came out hot, fresh and were HUGE. Much bigger and less expensive than at the Wingstop a few blocks down the street.

We USED to go to Wingstop & Halal Bros. No longer. This is our spot.“

“I stopped by Dos Toros and ordered a carnitas burrito bowl, and it was definitely the best value on the menu. The portion was generous, and the staff didn’t skimp on any of the ingredients, which I really appreciated. The carnitas had great flavor—well-seasoned, tender, and not dry at all. The rice was also really good, cooked well and not just filler like some places tend to do.

My friends each ordered a taco, and while they enjoyed them, the portion size difference was pretty noticeable compared to my bowl. If you’re hungry, I’d definitely recommend going for something bigger.

The food overall was delicious, and I was especially impressed that the spicy sauce actually had heat to it. It wasn’t just labeled “spicy” with no kick—it delivered. If I ever find myself in this terminal again, Dos Toros will be my first stop.“

The side sauces were unique and flavorful. The burger patties are slightly seasoned w herbs and spices. It was authentic flavor that wasn’t over powering which I loved.
