It’s not supposed to be atmospheric. It’s a deli with some tables for eating in.

Split a order of a full turkey sub french fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious. Only problem was paid six dollars for six onion rings. Was expecting more than six onion rings.

My husband and I were just passing through and found this deli. We shared an amazing Meatball sub (probably the best we've ever had)! The service was prompt and friendly. The prices were very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend!

What a local gem! Located in the center of Richmondville, Cargie's Corner Deli offers a variety Boar's Head deli meats, cheeses, made to order subs, signature sandwiches, burgers, wings, fried foods, pizza, homemade salads, weekend dinner specials, Friday seafood, Saturday BBQ and special Sunday dinner. They also sell bread loaves, snacks, cold drinks and NYS maple syrup. The place offers takeout and there are also a few tables inside to enjoy your food. There is also a classic Multigame arcade machine which has Donkey Kong, Mario Bros, Mappy, and Burgertime.I stopped by Cargie's for dinner takeout on a quiet Saturday evening while driving through Richmondville. I ordered their dinner special which was Sausage ala Vodka ($15.99 plus tax) served with salad and dinner roll and also got a pound of homemade Macaroni Salad ($4.99 plus tax/lb) too. I enjoyed dinner back at the house. The Sausage ala Vodka had two Italian sausages over a tasty pink sauce mixed with soft ziti. The green salad in the same box was comprised of fresh iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes and red onions with a zesty Italian dressing. The dinner roll was soft and chewy. The Macaroni Salad (mayo based) had soft elbows with small bits of tomato and onions, a good cold deli salad on a hot day. The food I enjoyed was spot on!Next time I'm in the Cobleskill Richmondville area, I will definitely have to get off the highway and stop in at Cargie's again for one of their specialty sandwiches!

I haven't been to the actual location, but Cargies catered to an fundraising event I supported (church youth program in Cobleskill). Having grown up in Florida, it's often difficult to find good southern cookin' up here in New York, and I sometimes miss the taste of home. That half chicken BBQ dinner took me back, and, pardon my french, was the best damn food I've had in a good long while! Only thing missing was the fried green tomatoes! I can't wait for the next time they cater. Definitely worth the drive from my home in Albany! As a side note, that Cole slaw was on point, and I could tell the chicken was made with love. Perfect amount of brine and seasoning, fell off the bone and melted in my mouth! Great job Cargies!

Place was clean, staff was friendly & the sandwich was great! Staff member suggested the Phoenix & it did not disappoint.Ordered a full sub for my husband and it was huge & delicious. Worth the price .

Three strikes and they're out. First was a stale roll, second was not enough meat for the price, third was this weekend, $23.75 for two full subs (no cheese) with a thin slice of meats and brown lettuce. The rolls were good. The employee was sullen and unfriendly on top of all this. I will never go back.
