We drive from Albany to visit this beautiful place. The strawberry rhubarb pie was to die for! Philly horseradish melt? I ate it slow to savor every bite! Exactly what a small town bakery should be!!
I love Brickhouse Bakery, and there's a new(ish) employee who has absolutely nailed it! Austin enthusiastically greets customers, answers questions to a tee, volunteers helpful information, and genuinely wants to help people have a great day. Stay shiny, bakery and Austin!
Just moved here from Queens NY ..wanted a Black Forest cake for my late husbands birthday and was a tiny bit disappointed on how they made the cake..instead of whipped cream they used chocolate butter cream and this was not a traditional Black Forest cake..BUT Taking the first bite of the cake , I loved it ..despite the difference in the texture of a traditional Black Forest Cake...
