This has been both myself and wife’s go to place for a very long time for authentic and delicious Eastern European takeout!
We always order the Roasted Red Peppers with feta & Shepherd Salad to start then 10 pieces of Cevapi and their signature Pljekavica, and both are always incredible. The Cevapis are always perfectly cooked, and the Pljekavica has such a generous, flavorful burger filling.
The kids always love the Bosna Express nuggets, think more than McDonald’s which is a HUGE WOW FACTOR in itself.
PS: Do NOT forget to order extra Pita bread and the Cucumber Salad, dalish :)
Everything tasted like it was made with care, reminiscent of a home-cooked meal. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a fantastic value. Service was quick and friendly, too. If you're looking for comforting, homemade Eastern European food, this is the spot!

Great Bosnian food, came from Canada to see my NY family.
Had to get Cevapi of course. Great Cevapi, it’s not cold for us here during winter as a Bosnian Canadian .
There are so many people in NYC, everyone honks. Reminds us of Bosnia 🇧🇦

Awesome food. Adding this to my regular local places. Had the chicken pita burger and it was absolutely delicious! Grilled to perfection and loaded with toppings. Also got fries which were great. Food is made fresh to order and great quality. Check it out!

I’ve been going to Bosna Express for many years but I’m done with them. Food is tasty, I have to give them that but they’ve become way too money hungry. They charge you extra for everything. I asked for a platter to go. The guy asked “with everything?”. I told him not to put hot sauce but put some more white sauce. He ended up charging me an extra $1 without telling me that I’ll be charged extra. Last time I was there I got charged extra again. Their prices keep going up, portions keep getting smaller and extra charge for everything. I didn’t even get a plastic fork. How the hell am I supposed to eat it? I was afraid to ask for one because that probably would’ve been another $1. The photo shows my platter with the extra white sauce. Does it look like I got that much more white sauce?
