Nice spot, I’ve been here a couple of times over the past two years. They have a great variety of beers, and the atmosphere is solid. The biggest downside is the service. It consistently takes 15–20 minutes just to get a beer, even on a Thursday. The bartender is doing her best, but it’s clear the place is short-staffed. Service could definitely be improved.
Cool spot for some interesting beer combos. Their milkshake ipas are unique and worth the try! Great atmosphere and staff!
I went here about two months ago with 2 other people and had a really shitty and unpleasant experience with the bartender. I don’t know her name, but when we came in there was like 5 people there so not busy at all and the bartender ignored us for a few minutes because she was making out with her boyfriend on the side of the bar looking right at us. Once she finally came by, I wanted a drink with vodka which she said they have with an attitude of course. Then the weird thing is that she took a glass and she went in the back. I don’t know what she poured in my drink, but it was disgusting. While we were sitting there, she was walking around I guess pretending to clean banging all the chairs like she’s crazy so I don’t know what was up with that. I left the whole drink because it was horrible to drink whatever that was. It was actually offensive to even sit there the way she was acting. I get people have bad days but she needs to check herself in public especially at work. I have never had experience like that at any bar brewery or restaurant in my life.
Nothing is a problem all you need is gallons of this stuff
Lovely space; open, bright, and airy! And of course the beer is top notch (particularly if you are a fan of high ABV brews.
Def worth a side trip or adventure!
I visited Evil Twin on friday, June 13 to celebrate my friend’s birthday and had an overall great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the beer selection was impressive, they offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and majority of the staff were welcoming.
HOWEVER, we did encounter a very disappointing interaction with one female bartender that stood out from the otherwise positive visit. Her demeanor came across as noticeably unapproachable and rude. All 15 of us could easily pick up on her lack of professionalism and negativity. At some point, someone from our group spilled their drink and immediately cleaned it up. We were scolded for not reporting our spill and lectured on how “stout beers stain wood.” It’s a brewery…spills are expected. In the future, if you wish for your customers to report spills and not clean up after themselves, make that a known policy. There is no need to ruin everyone’s night just because you’re having a bad one.
Very unfortunate for such a nice brewery to lose customers because of unpleasant employee.
Favorite brewery in the city. It’s all good can’t miss
I love this cozy local brewery! With both indoor and outdoor seating and a welcoming pet-friendly atmosphere, it's perfect for bringing my dog along. They offer a great selection of card and board games, making it a fun spot to unwind. The beer is excellent--I usually go for the DIPA, one of my favorites. Occasionally, there's a food truck outside, adding to the experience. It's an ideal place for a relaxed, small gathering.
Nice place to enjoy delicious craft beers
We live nearby and come often—almost exclusively for Doozie’s, which we love. However, over the past few months, the atmosphere on weekends has really changed. It now feels more like a Chuck E. Cheese, with kids running wild throughout the space. On our last visit, there were children racing around the patio on scooters and one using the brewery’s water glasses as bowling pins while driving toy trucks through them.
I realize this is more of a parenting issue than something Evil Twin can fully control, but it’s reached a point where the chaos significantly affects the experience. If this continues to be the vibe, I’ll be reluctant to return.
