Everything was hot and cooked nicely. However the food was quite bland if I'm being completely honest. The chicken Katsu tastes of nothing. With the spicy mayo it is delicious. It didn't taste like the chicken was seasoned at all, the sauce had all the flavor. I still a 4 star positive rating because it was cooked perfectly, breaded, crunchy, hot.

5 stars for the sweet chilli wings.
I got delivery - half sweet chilli, half soy wings. Despite the delivery time, when the wings arrived still warm, crunchy, juicy and delicious. I personally think the soy wings didn't have enough sauce, but the chicken wing cooked was well enough that I couldn't complain too much.
I was craving some good fried chicken, and I was able to satisfy that craving. This stuff SLAPS! I will be reordering.

I put in a pick up order. I was informed they didn't get the notification. I chose to order and wait the 20 minutes. Not only did I receive my order, I was given more food to compensate for the error. The gentleman definitely surprised me. My family enjoyed the food. Thank you 😊
James is the owner and did something supremely special. It's a tough block to park on so I typically go on the sidewalk to allow traffic to get by without causing any delays or potential injuries to others. I keep my hazards on as well to alert pedestrians and only park when no one is around.
I made a particularly large order. When I came to pick up, James notified me it would take 12-15 minutes. So I returned to my vehicle and waited to the tunes of old school PR Jerry Rivera.
I lost tracked of my attention and forgot that time had spanned. James came outside in the freezing cold to hand me my food and even crossed the street looking for me. This right here deserved a 5 star review and my automatic allegiance to their brand. Heck I'd give 10 stars if I could.
Not to mention the chicken is probably some of the BEST in nyc. And I’ve tried a variety of chicken spots. Take it from a Black man allegiant to his fried chicken for over 35 years. This is an excellent spot with decent portions.

This is my favorite Korean fried chicken spot! The wings here are so crispy and juicy, and their drumsticks are huge!! If you're looking for sauce recommendations, definitely give the Cheesling a shot. Aside from the amazing wings, the customer service is top notch; I wish I could give 6 stars. The owner is incredibly sweet and kind which makes the experience even better. I'm so happy to have Garlic to the Chicken in the neighborhood!
