Very spacious bar with fun dance floor, cheap coat check, and a large outdoor patio as well. Good spot to take my out of town

If i could leave zero, I would. Was so excited to check out the djs for this event that my friends were introducing me to. Our friend visiting from France who works in nightlife was also very excited and knew one of the artists. This "person" approached one of my friends and I and casually asked "are you here to see a specific dj?" which i assumed was just to spark conversation and joy for the night ahead. Boy was I wrong. Instead of a conversation we were forced to leave the line because we weren't there for a specific dj... talk about gatekeeping at its finest! We were told we had to leave, cut and dry. How do you think that makes someone feel? It wasn't packed. It was not sold out. And we were approached in this hostile manner. Do better.

Very rude stuff

Had a group of 12 people, we all reserved tickets and they told us we couldn’t come in because it was a “curated” event. Even though we had tickets. Felt low key homophobic and racist. I’ll never return.

Couldn’t even get in last night cause I guess it was maximum capacity, at least tell people you can’t come in instead of having them wait out in the cold with nothing to go on.

This place will profile you racially and by gender. Our friends were kicked out of line regardless of the fact that the place was empty. When we confronted the staff of why they were kicked out of line, their excuse was that they were expecting a full house and our friends seemed “out of it” because they didn’t know where the DJ was born. This is illegal and outright wrong!

I like nowadays, it's great how they spread awareness on mutual consent and their no phone policy when you enter the club.

Nice club in Queens. You can buy tickets on Resident Advisor and entry is very quick. Before entering they give you an explanation of the rules of the place.Inside the place is not very big, there is 3/4 of the surface where there are tables and a bar, the rest would be the track. The sound is very good and the lighting is very subtle, pleasant. As a detail, they give free water at all times and offer hearing protection.

Actual clowns. The bouncer was offended because we called him sir but apparently he identifies as a female. It was a genuine accident & all we said was thank you sir when asking a question. They were so mad about it that they denied our group of 10 people because we “didn’t know the name of the artist performing.” When our friend pulled them aside & asked why, they said it’s because we assumed their gender. In my years of living in NYC I’ve never had an issue like this. What a joke. Especially coming from an establishment that preaches togetherness and non-exclusivity.

Bad door staffI’ve enjoyed this spot many times; however tonight the door staff changed my feelings. We made online reservations. With two lines at the door, I approached the bouncer to ask for clarity. They helped me out and I said “thank you sir”.Another staff member approached me and said I had misgendered the bouncer, and my whole group was not allowed in for the night. While I am sorry, we had planned a birthday party around this well loved place. After all the travel, no hospitality was found.I hope anyone looking for reliability and kindness steer far way from nowadays.

Absolutely livid. A staff of tyrants. The experience started well, we loved the idea of the place but the execution was unacceptable. After paying $28 for a ticketed event, we were kicked out after glancing at a phone on the dance floor. Even after immediately putting the phone away and apologizing for the accidental rule break, they pretty aggressively escorted us out. Not giving us a chance to notify our group that we had to leave and barely giving us time to get our coats. We are a very tame, rule following group. Not at all rowdy or causing any kind of disturbance. We were treated as if we had done something intolerable. While we were super on board with the rules set out at the start of the night, excited to not be on phones on the dance floor, relieved that there were guidelines in place for making it a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space, we left feeling disrespected and honestly shocked that that’s how the night ended. No plans to ever go back to this place.
