Beautiful restaurant, but the service was just awful. We were rushed and couldn’t help to feel that we were somehow a bother to the waiter, as if he had something better to do. He was so inauthentic and disengaged, he really just ruined what should’ve, could’ve been an incredible experience. I will also say that the steak, while really delicious was prepared with a bit tooooo much salt.

Good food, nice vibe! The service was way too fast and expeditive, it felt like our waiter wanted us out asap… We had such great recommendations, honestly, we were very deceived…

Been to Rolo's twice. Both times were delicious. The servers are friendly and help you select your meal. The menu is simple but you can tell they use quality ingredients always.

I liked the concept. The music was appropriate, although it changed abruptly, altering the entire atmosphere. The green lasagna is definitely worth trying. The cheese was a bit too salty for my taste. Dessert was excellent. 10/10

Rounding up from 4.5 because of the friendly professional service. Food is very good, no doubt. But, was it $262 for two good? Not quite probably.

Roasted carrot special was amazing and the hamachi crudo was super fresh and light.

Olive oil and salt polenta bread was tasty, reminded me a bit of naan.

Linguine and clams was solid if a little salty and the ribeye was just as you'd want it, nice char on the outside, medium rare in the middle. I would personally order it with the herb butter on the side though (kind of overwhelmed the steak and I had to scoop it off my plate).

No dessert and two glasses of wine so like I said, $262 seemed like a lot for Onderdonk Avenue. But really can't complain about the place itself or the food.

Among my favorite dining experiences in the whole world. No matter the occasion Rolos is the right answer. I've celebrated birthdays l, engagements, random nights alone or with friends and can't forget countless brunch dates, each as memorable as the last! Get in early if you want the burger, but if you kiss out don't fret their menu has something that will scratch just about every itch!

I’ve been a loyal customer at Rolo’s since they opened, but after my last visit, I won’t be coming back. One of my family members ordered a burger and found a hair in it—absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, they didn’t even have the courtesy to take the item off the bill. The service was selective and below average, which only added to our disappointment.

If you’re looking for a better dining experience, I highly recommend Julia’s. Their food is consistently delicious, and the service is always top-notch. Sadly, Rolo’s no longer lives up to its initial promise.

I visited Rolo's recently with my family, excited to share one of our favorite spots together. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what I’ve come to expect from a place I’ve supported since its opening.

One member of our party ordered a burger, only to find a hair in it. Understandably, this was brought to the attention of our server, expecting the item to be taken off the bill or at least handled with some professionalism. To our shock, they still charged for it without even a sincere apology.

On top of that, the service was appalling. The staff was inattentive and, frankly, rude. It was clear they were prioritizing other customers who seemed to "fit their mold," leaving us feeling dismissed and unimportant. As someone who has been a loyal customer for years, I couldn't believe how far their standards have fallen.

It seems like Rolo’s fame has inflated their ego, leading to a sharp decline in the quality of their customer service. They desperately need to return to the warm, welcoming service they were known for when they first opened. If not, I foresee them losing many loyal patrons like myself.

Until they make some serious changes, I won’t be returning, and I’d recommend others think twice before dining here.

PS: If you want a really delightful dinning experience, go to Julia's right around the corner or Super Pollo.

I visited Rolo's a couple of days ago for dinner with my family, as we often do because we’ve always enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Unfortunately, this time, the experience was disappointing on multiple fronts.

First, I ordered a burger, and when it arrived, I found a hair on it. While the staff replaced the burger with a new one, I was surprised and disappointed that they didn’t have the courtesy to remove the original burger from the bill.

Additionally, the service fell short. When we walked in, no one acknowledged or answered our greeting, which felt dismissive. To make matters worse, I noticed that they were far more attentive to other patrons. I don’t want to believe that this disparity in treatment was racially motivated—that would be disastrous in this era, especially considering that as a paying customer, I am bringing business to their restaurant!

This experience was disheartening, especially as someone who has been a loyal customer. Mistakes happen, but how they are addressed and how guests are treated can make or break an experience. I hope the management reflects on this and ensures better service moving forward, as I’d like to continue supporting a place I’ve always loved.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Our server was attentive, helpful, and polite. The atmosphere is festive - in the sense that you just want to drink, eat, and be merry. The food and wine were outstanding. My favorites were crispy potatoes, lasagna, and apple tart.
