The panini’s are indeed fresh however for the price point it did not suffice my appetite for lunch. I ordered the Roast Beef panini.

Salvo’s is a quaint, yet, handsome paninoteca that truly offers Italian panini. They’re not serving seven different meats on one sandwich, but instead you’ll get classics with house made aioli and pestos that you really wouldn’t get unless you’ve been over to the boot itself. The atmosphere is lively but just quiet enough to actually be able to chat with the person next to you. The staff are incredibly kind from front of house to back. We have a new institution that is here to stay for many years. This is what we call home. Forza Juve. Forza Salvo himself.

Welcome to Queens, Salvo’s. My girlfriend and I visited Sal’s after having tried his sandwiches in the past when he was delivering them from his 3-wheeler. His new space has a great atmosphere, and the sandwiches (we tried 2) were both great! The staff was friendly and we’ll be back to try more.
