Great new spot. Loved the pumpkin cream latte. Will be back soon for a matcha thing
What a lovely new addition to the neighborhood! Had the iced strawberry matcha latte and very happy with my order. I am not a huge matcha fan, but I think of it the way folks think of beer… there’s gotta be the right matcha out there for everyone haha. I can tell you right now that my latte was delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other drinks!
PS - Because each drink is made to order it can take a few minutes to get your drink. Perfection takes time, I don’t know what to tell y’all if you’re in a rush :) chill Ridgewood vibes - don’t bring Manhattan “I’m always late” energy into the space.

amazing matcha!
It’s so hard to find spots that are truly dedicated to matcha, which is why I was so happy to stumble upon this little gem in Bushwick. The vibes, the service, the atmosphere are all on point. And the matcha is SO good. My personal favorite is the banana cream matcha—seriously dreamy! ✨

first time trying this place and I’m gonna recommend you take the black sesame cream hojicha latte back to the drawing board bc it was terrible. I love hojicha and anything black sesame flavored but it was so gritty I felt like I was drinking an $8 cup of dirt. The black sesame cold foam tasted good on its own but there was also so much ice in the cup (rip off) it wasn’t really blending together. Maybe the matcha is better but not super inclined to try it again after that!

Exceeded my matcha expectations! As a frequent matcha drinker, I can confidently say this spot offers top-tier quality at a great price. Easily one of my top 2 cafes in NYC!

Came here a Saturday morning and there was no line!
I wanted to love this place but i felt like the matcha was just okay. Got the banana foam matcha and the foam was delicious but the matcha itself was a bit bitter.
Also got the strawberry matcha and again, the puree tasted great but not the matcha alone. Had to really mix it to mask the bitterness.
The pastries were great though (got the almond croissant and the savory biscuit).
Staff was great though.

Sieve is a minimalist cold coffee shop... modern new in an old neighborhood... it doesn't really fit. Its clean but stark. How about a painting or two on the walls? Good matcha drink n friendly service.

Wow, I’m very impressed by the quality and taste. If you’re going to spend on matcha at the neighborhood’s going rate of $7-8 for a drink, this is a place that will be worth your money! I got the strawberry matcha tonic and it’s an addictive bright and spicy flavor. After buying far too many matchas that just taste like oat milk with food coloring, this is a redemption. I will 100% be back. Also shout out to the lady behind the counter who whisked the matcha for a whole two minutes! I am feeling the love.
Delicious banana matcha, very nice people

The cashiers are always sweet and helpful, and the matcha is the best I've had in Ridgewood so far!
