Great music shows with a sliding scale on the cover charge.I also hear that they have a pretty fair split with the bands, so you know your money is going to really support artists and not line the pockets of some corporate fat cat....Maybe just a regular house cat... that's fat... but that's different.

This is an absolutely great place to see live local music. The sound system is incredible. Big plus: the took such good care of the room dampening treatments and everything. Everything sounds really really great. They've got themselves an awesome beer selection at all times and very nice Kicky craft cocktailsOkay, so now let's talk about the food. Ross makes some amazing food, chili to DIE FOR, a legendary loaded baked potato, and much more! You should definitely speak to him about what he's got on the menu for the day.Just sayin'.... ✌️?☠️

The world needs more places like this. Chill comfortably kinda divey but not really front bar opens to a great performance space in the back. I vended at a zine fest here and ended up staying two hours after just hanging out.

Always a great time at footlight. The best place in Ridgewood to unwind after a days work with a cold beer, or catch a good laugh from a start up comedian, or watch a sweet start up band, or buy some farm to table veggies, or view some cool art work, or help raise money for someone in need. If you don't get the point by now it's a kicka** bar with awesomazing things happening daily so just go and enjoy!!
