They don't return phone calls or emails. Continue to charge my credit card for wine we haven't received. Business has apparently shit down with no warning or communication.

Great setting. We had a nice tasting served with great presentation and info. More quiet and classy. Bachelorette parties maybe stay away!!! Small groups and couples for sure!

One of my favorite wineries for the decor to the wines, it's just beautiful and delightful!

I didn't love any of the wines, except the sparkling blanc de blanc (first of the tasting) and the Cabernet franc (fourth of the tasting) but the place itself is very nice. We enjoyed the outdoor seating in the sun and there were several cute rooms in the house-like structure to choose from if you wanted to stay indoors. There is also an art gallery next door as well as a hardware store. It's also a 5 min walk from Jamesport in case you want to check out a second winery. Overall, didn't love the wines but still a fun experience and a cute place to check out. They do have some light snacks to choose from if you'd like, though we came from lunch so didn't try any.

Location is very nice, however the host was rude to us, treating us as a burden because a larger reservation was coming in. Turns out that larger reservation was us, and they got the books wrong. So that was fun. Would go back if that hostess wasn't working. Very standoffish.

Drive too fast and you'll miss it.Sherwood House is on the south side of Main Road as you head east, just before you enter Jamesport. An unassuming structure, it seems like a residence so it's easy to miss.Off to the side, it alga's some modest outdoor seating as well as on a deck on the other side of the building. But the interior is where this tasting room excels! Several rooms in the front are good for largish parties with rustic decor courtesy of Salt and Lumber but the main tasting room there the showpiece with a terrific fireplace that's awesome for chilly, Sunday afternoon drinks.Modest food menu on par with snacks offered by other local wineries. Oregon Road offering are most approachable but sometimes "out of stock". The Sherwood wines are tasty and appropriately complex and yet (very) easily drinkable though at a slightly higher price point.(Bonus: there's an art gallery attached. We went in once and got some really great noodle bowls and sushi trays!)It's one of our favorite spots for winter tastings!Cheers!

Beautiful interior. Food could have been presented a bit better. Charcuterie board came out on a paper plate. Wine platter was awesome

I REALLY wanted to love this vineyard BUT there were a few misses. 1- whoever makes their playlist should get a new job. The environment is so cozy and beautiful and the music was circa 2000 pop music (Disney duos, linkin park included) and just RUINED the whole experience.2- the bartender told us to seat ourselves and it was full service but no one came to take our order for 10 minutes so my husband went up and ordered despite what she told us.3- server had no idea how long the place had been open and had no real info or answers to our questions.Maybe this was because it was a Monday but I think despite the day these things should be fixed because I could not leave fast enough.

Love Sherwood. Fire was roaring on a Saturday in April. Karen the new manager was welcoming and informative regarding the change of owners, etc... we had reservations and stopped in for a glass. The space is warm cozy and inviting. Enjoy!

Perfect day, excellent curated wine, cheese and thou. The sommelier was very thorough and helpful. The outdoor seating was lovely on a gorgeous September afternoon.Sherwood wines are good. We prefer the estate bottles and of course the bubbly.Cheers!
