WOW! I was looking for a place in the area to host a family dinner prior to a wedding weekend. Jerry and the Mermaid popped up online. I emailed and from the moment I made contact with Jerry, I felt that it was going to be a good choice. I could not have been more right. Jerry was not only easy to work with, but everything was perfect, and I mean perfect. He understood that we had one or two special needs and his answer was always "whatever you need we will take care of you."...
It was our first time going after hearing so many wonderful things, and we will 100% be back!
Excellent service (thank you, Kim) and amazing food. Their New England Clam Chowder absolutely lives up to the hype, and their baked clams are delicious. The swordfish was a game changer, and I’m glad it was permanently put onto the menu.
This is the first time in a long time that me and my boyfriend got appetizers, entrees, and desserts and ate it all COMPLETELY....

I went to this restaurant for the first time this evening. I work in the area and was looking for a nice place to have dinner with my husband after a hard day of work. It was easy to find. It is located next to the Hotel and the Riverhead Aquarium. It is a really cute looking building with a dockside view. We dined in and were not disappointed. The waitresses were friendly and we were seated promptly. Our drinks were sent promptly and were made properly. The food was well seasoned...
