First time visiting this place. Clean, nice place. I went to have breakfast with my best friend. The food was delicious, but the service was poor, nothing professional. They didn't serve you properly, and I had to get up to ask the waitress if she could serve me coffee, and the same to pay. Bad experience

The new decor gives this place a fresh feel! The turkey dinner was really good! The meat portion was generous, with a thick slice of turkey breast. The flavors in the gravy and stuffing were enjoyable, as were the just right MASHED POTATOES!!! The steamed veggies in olive oil and garlic were tasty. The house salad was fresh and colorful--no problem omitting the tomatoes. The side of avocado was at peak ripeness. Their Greek dressing, made on the premises, was just tangy enough to give it a new twist. Also, the coffee was quite good and free refills were appreciated. The mashed cassava and tostones were on point. We noticed empanadas on the menu, as well as other Latinx classics, which other diners were actively savoring. We'll be back to try some of those items next time. The service was good. An attentive waiter checked on us more than twice and the manager came to say hi.

We were here last week and the place wasn’t very busy , seated quickly in a booth in a corner . We had breakfast which I thought was pretty expensive . Service was slow , I had to try and catch the eye of a server to get more coffee by waving my hand around , then again waving my hand around to get the check . Nobody checked on us once. Certainly wouldn’t go again although my quesadilla was excellent . My man’s breakfast was exceptionally boring . How it was described as pancake deluxe is beyond me .

Stopped in late after a long day at the hospital, visiting a relative. Missed Northern Diner food, saw the place and went for it. The food was fresh and tasty. Gyro tzatziki sauce was good, with a great dill freshness. I had eggs and corned beef hash. Yum. Family also had the sliders. Excellent.

My daughter and I wanted a treat we hadn’t been to a dinner since moving to Riverhead from West Babylon a couple of months ago she was in the mood for matzo ball soup and French dip well it was more trick than treat we received 1 glass of water even after asking 2x’s more so we had to share the 1 glass there was no matzo ball soup or French dip there were chicken fingers over cooked fries and a cold waffle there was fresh fruit which I was told it was so that’s something had to ask for butter and a/f syrup twice it’s the very first time I’ve ever come out of a dinner still hungry very disappointed the staff seemed to hang around the front desk area laughing and being loud it also seemed some patrons received much better food and far more attention but I can tell you we will never go back claims new owners sad we were truly in need of a treat we should have gone to ihop atleast it would not have cost almost $40 for the meal

Wheelchair accessibility: They were wheelchair accessible
I’d recommend the water if we each had been served a glass each so save your $

Everybody here is friendly and professional. Daniel took good care of us. I had the Chipotle burger platter, and loved it. I am looking forward to returning.

I got a turkey club so dry in the meat and rye bread wasn't toasted. My dad got a pastrami sandwich. Fries were undercooked, pastrami was rubber. It's chef microwave here. He didn't even finish his plate. We will not be coming back here. Salt and pepper shakes are dirty and they have the residue of it. It should be clear. A co worker came up, totally dismissed my experience with the food. He just walked away. Glass lamps low so you can hit yourself in the head. The decor nice but it just covers up the bad food and bad customer relations and concerns. I understand the cost of things but holy crap where is the quality of the food and also customer service accommodations with like hey ill comp your food or would you like something else. Alot of times. When 2 orders are bad, the next won't be appetizing.

1st time at Peconic Diner, Had the old fashioned French Toast with bacon and sausage, everything was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
My waiter Daniel was particularly attentive, don’t pass this place by if you’re looking for a casual dining experience!

Potatoes were dry. CBhash was cold. The bacon wasn't dead enough so they killed it a second time to a crisp. Eggs were good. Couldn't figure out who are server was the one guy on shift or the three girls running around doing everything.
