Good people , good food great staff!! .. Bingo on Wednesday nights is soooo much fun!
Great spot to go to for lunch or dinner. They do change up their menu to keep things interesting for the regulars like me love sitting outside, watching the golf course.
My co-workers and I get take out from here almost every Friday and hands down they have the most consistently great food every time we order. I’ve been ordering take out in riverhead for 11 years and vip on the 19th is hands down the best. Service is impeccable as well.

Village Idiot Pub on the 19th Green is known for consistently great food and impeccable service. Customers often order take‑out and praise the best food in Riverhead, with food that stays great every time. The pub can host private parties; one event for 36 guests used a newly redone private space that was spotless and cozy. The woman in charge attended to all needs with a smile, and guests would choose the venue again. Birthday celebrations are also special: a group of four ordered two slider dishes, a buffalo’s chicken wrap, a chicken sandwich, and filet mignon sliders. The sliders were cooked to perfection, with three tender pieces of filet mignon steaks for $20. A waitress brought a cake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday, delighting the guest. On Sunday a young brunette/blondish waitress provided excellent service, refilling drinks quickly. The pub also hosted 20 or more eighth‑graders and families after a moving‑up ceremony, showing graciousness and accommodation. In the lounge, a long‑time bartender is friendly, always smiling, and people enjoy the positive energy.
