customer service was great. food was not good at all. Unfortunately I threw away most of my food. The plantains were not good, rice was dry and not flavored. The pork was flavored good but was full of fat and gritty. I would not order here again. I see other reviews are good maybe I cought them on a bad night.

Omg!!! The food is phenomenal I had it to go. Bistec is amazing the octopus salad amazing The Rib eye steak I was told it was delicious and tostones. It’s definitely worth the money for us. I have eaten at a lot of places that was okay but they are definitely hands down.

809 and 809 Takeout offer vastly different experiences in terms of service. Over time, the service quality at 809 Takeout has deteriorated since its opening, and the restaurant itself is uncomfortably hot. Please address the AC issue! 809 on Lyell has good service, while 809 on West Ridge Rd is mediocre at best.
The food is phenomenal! This was my first time trying this restaurant, but I was blown away. I tried the chicken with cabbage and yellow rice on the side: the chicken was extremely tender, and the rice and cabbage were also extremely flavorful. Go check this place out. You'll feel the same way!
Parking: In the front, with other stores. As long as the plaza itself is not too busy at the time you go, you'll have no problem.

Got some food today, food portion good, service is what you get this can have more personality. Atmosphere is that of food take out place. That being said the food doesn’t have that Dominican flavor I would expect, definitely that homeland flavor. But everything is ok.
