3 star because the ice cream was good, but abbotts custard is always good. Unfortunately the girl behind the counter was not very pleasant, we seemed to be bothering her and just in her way. The waffle cone and oreos were stale too. Only the custard was good but not worth the extra for the waffle cone or toppings

In Rochester area for the weekend and always look for local homemade ice cream. Abbott's seemed to be the place to try. I like frozen custard and was even more interested that they serve scooped frozen custard, I often see this as a soft serve. It was a rainy cold day but that didn't deter the custard eaters as there were quite a few guests who came it while we were there. I think they had 4-6 flavors available fresh and lots of packed pints of other flavors to go. Decided to try vanilla since it was our first time. Very smooth, creamy, firm, excellent flavor. If we had enough time I would have gone back to try another flavor. Would definitely enjoy again if in the Rochester area, especially if it was sunny.

Best Abbott's around. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely love it!

Didn’t have the flavors we wanted but it was later also. Hours were not correct for time of close.

Young teens that didn't want to be there working rather be on their phones. Indoor seating was closed 1.5 hours before closing. Will not return. Culver's was just as good and half price

Custard was great but the staff was very rude to my children. First my 8 year old was yelled at for putting his hand on the counter by the toppings, which I understand but you don’t need to talk to a kid like that. Then my 6 year old was grabbing a chair because they were put up over an hour before closing for whatever reason and the other girl yelled at him saying the dining room was closed, which again is fine but whats with the attitude and why is the dining room closed so early. It’s safe to say we won’t be going to this chain again.

Can't beat Abbotts custard for texture and flavor. Very limited seating. Limited available flavors. Servings were on the small side.

Abbott's Frozen Custard offers a wide range of dessert options that cater to every sweet tooth. The variety is impressive, with many flavors and toppings to choose from. However, I found the custard to be a bit too sweet for my taste. If you prefer your desserts on the sweeter side, you'll likely enjoy it, but if you lean towards less sugary treats, it might be a bit overwhelming.

This location is the worst. They have very little selection, awful customer service and the prices are sky high.

My wife and daughter went to this abbot’s Saturday April 20th at 4pm. The girl that was working was absolutely horrible. My wife and daughter ordered the chocolate cheesecake ice cream. We thought it was cheesecake flavored and didn’t realize it had chunks put in it. We saw the girl shake pieces of cheesecake in it and put it in the dish. At that point we said oh we didn’t realize it had chunks and thought it was just flavored. We had already paid at this point and said could we just get the chocolate instead and we understood we would have to pay for the one she already scooped with the chunks in it? Wasn’t an issue. She then without a word turned around and threw the cup in the garbage like she was being so put out. She scooped it and then charged us. The entire time not saying a word like she was just so put out and over worked. Please get over yourself. You were asked to scoop ice cream. Not rebuild a building or do anything hard at all. Just be pleasant and scoop ice cream. The job should never elicit such a bad attitude. If you don’t like your job quit.
