Fantastic food

Purd

$25 dollars for this seems pretty unreasonable.

One of my all time favorites!! I’ve been dining here for several years!!! ALWAYSS fresh and hot!!! You can never go wrong with the chicklaki , beef kebab pita roll, the limon pasta, and pignolia!! I love their gazpacho (summer seasonal dish) and I love the blueberry lemon cake omgggg to die for!!!

I came for lunch. Ordered the lentil soup and the “roasted” veggie appetizer that came with a side of pita. I watched an ant walk from underneath my pita and told the owner and instead of resolving the matter he said repeatedly that it was impossible….

After telling him it was quite possible because I watched this ant mossy on out of my pita and he said there is no way. I left because some how he became more angry than I was 🤷🏽‍♀️

Idk what this is but it’s not tabbouleh.
Full of parsley stalks ( the dirt was a nice touch, too ), tasteless dressing and those 2” hunks of cucumber and tomato = glad I didn’t order 3, as originally planned.
Also comforting to note that when other reviewers have a bad experience, their pat response is “Your concerns are noted. We hope you try us again.”
The correct answer is “Please contact us for a refund and an example of how the dish SHOULD have been presented to you.”
“We don’t care” vibes all over this place.
Will keep looking for quality Middle Eastern in Rochester…….

*NOTES re: RESTAURANT RESPONSE BELOW:

1. I know what ingredients tabbouleh contains.
What I got from your establishment MAY have contained trace pepper and mint ( which is not grainy lol ) by it also contained dirt/sand.

2. The response smacks of deflection, rather than truly caring about the customer.

3. It’s irrelevant if or who else complained. My dish was garbage.

4. Your shameful response was exactly what I expected, given what I read concerning others failing reviews for your business, which is why I won’t be back.

Horrible. Don't even deserve one star. Poor customer service, eggplant tasted old, shrimp were like rubber, DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY GREEK DRESSING. MUSHY TOMATOES, NO OLIVES UNLESS YOU PAY EXTRA. BARELY ANY FETA CHEESE. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF MAKING A SALAD AT HOME. They have lost a long standing committed customer.

We were seated promptly. The salad was fresh and our pasta dishes came out steaming hot. Not only was the food amazing but our waiter was too. My water was filled up 3 or 4 times in the short time we were there and he was very polite.

The first time I had Aladdin's, it was from their location on the canal in Pittsford. It was decent, but not memorable. Highly recommend giving this location a try- I've gone back on several occasions and left happily full every time!

Excellent Greek Salad with Gyro!

Pignolia is a pine nut. But, if you order Pignolia on their menu, do not expect to see any pine nuts. With their excellent grilled chicken added, the dish was a bit more soupy than expected though delicious none the less. The Pittsford location adds pine nuts to their Pignolia but I would not recommend theirs for overall flavor.
If you order wine, chardonnay for instance, they ill charge you the premium price unless you specify "house" and the small glass is filled to about 4 oz. Still the price is comparatively reasonable.

Parking: If you're going to drive in the city, you need to know how to parallel park.
