Aldaskeller is one of my favorite places in Rochester! I’ve never had a wine I disliked from there - the owner has excellent taste and the staff is so knowledgeable. Such a welcoming place with a beautiful interior and great events.

I honestly ran into the first shop I came across on the way (there were 4 minutes left before closing!) and hit the jackpot with Aldaskeller wine! A wonderful selection of wines with very good prices and a wonderful owner who spent 15 minutes after closing looking for something that would suit my taste and offered me a wonderful bottle that brought joy to my friends and me that evening.

Great shop with an amazing selection of not only wine but records to set the mood. Awesome people and even better vibe. Really fun pop up events and tastings as well.

This is the third time I have gone to Aldaskeller this past year from New York City and it is my favorite wine shop, without a doubt. I always am so excited to return. Every time I have gone Joey has been nothing short of exceptional in service and knowledge, without being pretentious. I really want to applaud 1. how well versed he is in wine, food pairings, and catering to the specifics of what I am looking for while giving multiple options that vary in region and price. 2. I also want to encourage everyone to visit Aldaskeller and Joey because of how deeply passionate he is about every wine and customer (seldom do you find a sommelier who is genuinely both). He knows the history behind each bottle and makes every story exciting and captivating. Thank you for all of your help every time, and I cannot wait until my next visit!

The recommendations by the staff were so detailed and spot on. They listened to my taste styles and then matched wines perfectly. Very satisfied.

Beautiful, clean, and inviting space to purchase natural wines. Prices start around $20 and the wines come from all over, of course a good amount from California/France etc. They focus on small batch organic wineries. I had the Marinara wine for around $24 and it was exactly as described in terms of flavor profile and expectations.

Even a regular wine drinker can appreciate a good bottle!

Thank you Joe for educating us on natural wines. We will be returning for your events soon. Cheers

This, right here, is a lovely establishment. I've always been more of a beer guy and find wine to be a little overwhelming at times, but the crew at Aldaskeller basically never misses with a recommendation. I've taken to trusting them with my beverage fate whether I'm looking for a backyard sipper or a food accompaniment. Definitely takes the cake in ROC for selection as far as natty wines go, so there's something for every mood and occasion. The Saturday tastings are also a nice touch :)

Always a great experience here! Amazing selection and the owner is so knowledgeable and friendly! He’s know his wine. Brought my husband in for the first time and he loved it. We went in for 1 bottle and came out with 4 :) Great vibes…we will be back!

A must stop if you like wine and are in Rochester. What an amazing store! Hard to walk out without wanting to try every interesting wine. The owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and Brandon helped me out a lot when I wanted to get my parents a gift card even though I live in CT. Cannot recommend more!
