AltBar is a unique and exceptional concept in the Rochester food & bev community. As both a non-alcoholic cocktail bar and a n/a bottle shop, it serves so many needs for a wide range of people with diverse interests. AltBar is a kind and inclusive place which reflects the goodness of their owners. We’re fortunate to have this kind of place in a city of our size. Highly recommend!
AltBar is truly one of my favorite local spots in Rochester. I’ve been many times—for bingo, tarot readings on Halloween, and art collective nights—there’s always something fun happening. They have the largest selection of non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails I’ve ever seen, plus great local snacks to enjoy while you’re there.

Alt Bar is an alcohol free bar. I love the idea of this place. They have a huge selection of alcohol free products, many of which I had never seen anywhere else. It's a fun space, and the staff is lovely, and the selections are really good. I will say I came to this place not knowing that it was alcohol, free, and when I found out, I cannot say that I was not disappointed, but I recognize that's my problem, and not the bar's problem.
