First time ordering. If I’m paying $30 for a large pizza it should be on point. Pretty bland and very very skimpy on the toppings. Crust was great. Probably won’t order again ….Honest review right here.

Got a medium pepperoni, thin crust. Really good. The only disappointing thing was I paid for mozzarella and definitely didn't seem like that. The taste was good so I didn't mind. I'd definitely go back.
UPDATE - I went back and ordered a slightly different pizza, this time without the extra mozz. I definitely got extra mozz the 1st time. Pizza was still good. I would certainly order it again.

Place has gone downhill fast, the delivery service forgot my drink order entirely. I asked for a refund, didn't get it. ordered one pizza thin crust, came as regular crust. Pizza was cut all wrong leaving slices weird sized... skip this place order from somewhere else!

This place used to be one of my favorites when I lived on this side of town. I’ve since moved to Fairport and haven’t been over here in a while. I ordered some pizza and wings to take home and they were immediately a fan favorite. I’m glad to see Dave and the boys haven’t lost their touch

This is quite a long post but wanted to be sure to give bakground information. Thanks for taking the time to read. Many of you know that my oldest son has worked for a local pizza establishment, Amico's, for the last year. He has worked most Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at minimum wage. He has worked Halloween and Super Bowl evenings when it was "all hands on deck" busy. At age 17, these are normal employment parameters. What isn't normal however is what happened last evening and has periodically occurred over the last year. My son was advised when hired that if he needed to request time off he needed to give 2 weeks notice to allow for shifts to be covered appropriately. Over the last year, my son has never called in sick, never showed up late for a shift, and always has abided by the 2 week time off policy. The one and only time he requested time off without a 2 week notice, he was denied the time and he accepted this and showed up for work as scheduled. On Friday, he went to work and requested time off in 2 weeks to attend a Boy Scouting trip to Baltimore. He was denied by the owner stating "if you had given me a month's notice I could have accommodated this request". While I understand the difficulties of running a business, the stated policy is 2 weeks notice which my son gave. The current staffing issues that Amico's is experiencing is not the problem of the 17 year old employee. So after his shift that evening, he came home and we talked about his options which essentially came down to missing the trip (the last Spring trip he will be able to attend as he ages out of Scouts in January) or leaving this job. We were not going to play games such as him calling in sick for those shifts. My son decided to give his notice. On Saturday, he went into work 15 minutes early to give his 2 week notice. He spoke with the owner and advised his last day would be April 11th. He then prepared to start his shift and the owner told him to leave then. My son attempted to shake his hand to thank him for allowing him to work for him over the last year. The owner refused to shake his hand calling my son disrespectful. His last words to my 17 year old "Get out of here and never come back". Over the last year when my son has made errors such as writing an order down incorrectly, needing to ask a customer to repeat an order, etc (normal mistakes for most anyone but again he's a teenager) the owner has berated him saying things like "he's a waste of space" and that "he's useless". Many times I wanted my son out of that job for that reason however I allowed him to work the situation out for himself as he'll soon be a young adult. So I'm sharing his story here for awareness because if I had known how employees were treated prior to him being hired, he would have found part time employment elsewhere. There's many choices of excellent pizza places in Irondequoit and surrounding areas. I know where I will choose not to spend my money.

We got 20 garlic parm wings they were delicious I ordered them this weekend because when I'm at work, the girls ALWAYS grab food from there. I love the real garlic pieces and butter vs the " garlic Parm sauce" that comes out the bottle,it's salty. You have to try this chicken it's crispy and fresh.I could not add a photo because we ate the food before I posted this review ??

The food is always delicious. Everyone I have ever dealt with behind the counter has been super nice and helpful. On top of the fact that I incorrectly ordered something online and they took the time to call and confirm my order (when I am sure they were busy)! I appreciate their customer service and the quality of their product! It’s our favorite pizza place in Irondequoit!

Apparently if you order online (just a personal pizza) at 835pm they will cancel your order even though they close at 9. I ordered and showed up at 845pm. The guy said they cancelled it because they didn't know if I would show up even though I paid with a card online. Plus he said they needed time to clean up so they can leave on time. Bad.

I normally write a review after I've visited a few times but Amico's was exceptional. I'm not normally on that side of town but it's worth a special trip. I had their Bianco pizza, which is pictured a lot, but what stood out for me was their hand-tossed dough right in front of you, and their sauce; the crust was perfect and the sauce was sooo flavorful it made me wish I'd gotten bianco toppings with a red sauce. The guys were also so friendly despite the entire building being an oven; quite warm, we wouldn't have eaten inside and it's a shame there isn't outdoor seating, but we did takeout regardless. Dare I say the best local, non-chain pizzerias in Rochester (At least that I've had).
