I am writing this as a first time customer here. Let me just say I got the Jumbo roast beef sub and honestly it was the best sub that I've ever had in my life...Even better then Wegmans! I dont know what roast beef they use but to me it almost tastes like Charlie the Butchers but I am not sure. I got a couple extra few things that were great. They Have loaves of 1 dollar bread which to me is such a great deal! Also got a pickle. The workers there the girls who helped me were so very nice and friendly . GREAT PLACE JUST GO!!!! Your taste buds will thank you
Ordered from here through door dash. I ordered two subs and the receipt and the door dash order confirmed that I requested provolone cheese. Both subs were missing cheese, very disappointing
Such a lovely staff and great food 10 out of 10 I’m coming here again 🥰😘 Thank you for my lunch today
Would be 5 stars if it weren't for the sandwiches my boyfriend and I got today. We've been eating here a few times a month for the past few months because their subs are fantastic. Today, however, was a different story. There, MAYBE, was two layers of meat throughout my sub (I got the Italian assorted, so that doesn't make sense at all because it's supposed to have 4 types of meat.) The tomatoes weren't ripe and the bread was really hard. I'm not sure if the younger guy that made the subs was new or just didn't care but we're for sure gonna venture elsewhere from now if we stop in and he's the one making sandwiches.
Been buying Amiels subs off and on for decades. I got the Bernies Favorite. It was a lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise sandwich. Almost no meat. Service is still good there, but the food is not worth it.
I have been thoroughly enjoying the deliciousness of Amiel's subs since the early 90s and now, in 2025, I Am Loving their sumptuous, scrumptious subs still
As a long time customer I have see that observed that since Senior Amiel passed away the quality of the subs have gone down. The subs are made different. The meat isn’t the same. The standard have changed that made Amiel’s stand out amongst the rest is lacking. And they weighed the meat? No more? See pic of extra I didn’t order

Overall Amiel's is good food. The bread for the subs is fresh baked daily and it shows. If there is a line prepare to wait a bit. The service can be a bit slow but that also means they don't rush making the subs. Well worth the wait.

Passing through and looking for a good roast beef sandwich that isn’t heavy like Arby’s. This was amazing. We enjoyed the beef n cheddar. Our pickup order was ready in < 20 minutes in a Thursday night. The restaurant was very clean with a fun atmosphere. I recommend.

This is a 5-star for the food. Excellent freshly baked bread every day is a game changer here. All you have to do is get the original sandwich on seed bread with all the free toppings (make sure to get the spicy mustard) and you’re set. The dine in experience is nothing to write home about so just take it to go. Staff is all very friendly.

I have been going to Amiel’s for a very long time. The subs do get a 5 star from me. Tuna is my favorite and I highly recommend. Staff has great customer service as well.
Having said that……..The cleanliness of the entire place is pretty bad…..I usually give a restaurant 3 visits to be fair, as I know sometimes there can be a day off.
And, I have always pointed out to staff how “unkept” the place looks. My last 3 visits have been disheartening………it looks plain dirty…… On my visit today it was, big sigh, looking quite terrible. Lettuce all over the place, roast beef machine terrible, some staff tee shirts looked dirty, counters and floor not good, walls dirty…….
Can we please go back to wearing a mask while staff is talking over the sandwiches being made…….Can you please ask staff to change their gloves if they touch a mop, garbage can, or their hat?? When I ask staff to change their gloves they look at me like I’m crazy. They should hire one person who’s sole job is to make sure counters where the sandwiches are being made are clean, staff looks sharp, floors are swept and mopped, etc…..
The huge dirty garbage can behind the counter should be cleaned or placed descretly in an area out of sight.
I love the subs from Amiel’s and I do hope they enforce a training on all the above, discuss cross contamination, wear mask while making sandwiches, etc…….
Will I go back?? Yes…….and hope to see a better change.
