Their selection of meats were quite surprising and good. They had it all, venison, beef, pork, lamb, frog legs, duck, octopus, the works! Definitely some interesting and tasty selections to try. The only issue we had with this place is that we notified waitress of gluten intolerance and asked about a dish and she said it was okay. It arrived with an orzo looking pasta that when I asked her again was made of gluten. She brought another dish but luckily I didnt just take her word for it the first time.

Unique dishes, great cocktails and extensive wine list makes for a wonderful dining experience. Intimate yet comfortable atmosphere. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they know their stuff, we enjoyed the recommended Concord Grape Cocktail and when I asked for a dry red recommendation (I like dry dry, like moisture sucked out of my mouth dry) the server suggested a Cotes du Rhone that was just fabulous! We had the Charred Octopus appetizer (a must try!), the venison curry and the Avvino burger for meals and the chocolate cake for dessert. All were fabulous and generous portion sizes that we were able to make a second meal out of our leftovers. We had some more drinks at the bar after dinner and had a wonderful, lively conversation with their bartender. Overall just a great experience and we will be back!

We had a great first experience. The dining room was a beautiful space - relaxing and cozy. Great food options. We ordered different dishes and every one was so fresh and bursting with flavor! Our server was very informative and made a lot of good suggestions and was very friendly and attentive. Well worth the drive from Buffalo!

Can’t say enough good things about Avvino and Chef Tim. We traveled in from Buffalo for my dads birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. Tried a few different appetizers and entrees and every dish had so much flavor. We also had great service from the hostess, to the waitress, and everyone in between. Can’t wait to be back!

I have yet to eat the food here but I have frequented the bar enough to know I would be very happy once I did. The bar s so cozy and welcoming, but the bartenders are even better. Very classy and chill vibes without being to over the top or in your face. It reminds me of how quiet luxury feels, understated but never fails to hit the mark.

For some reason the restaurant didn’t have our reservation. But, they were nice enough to put us in their private room since it wasn’t being used. The food was very good with generous portions.
Visited because Avvino was on Resy, and I had a platinum credit from AMEX to burn. Had the ribeye cooked medium rare, it was pretty much perfect, a lot of chefs hear medium rare and really just give you medium, but you get what you ask for here. Fingerling potatoes were a great surprise as well, wasn't expecting to be as good as they were. $17 for a glass of Laphroaig is also quite reasonable, so good job there. Finished up with a massive slab of bread pudding, it was delicious and the portion size was meant for 2 people, not bad for $13. Overall I feel like it was a pretty great value for the quality of food and service, which were both excellent. I'm sure I'll be back next quarter!

The only thing that saved our time here was the bartender and the drinks. Great drinks! Unfortunately the food and service were subpar. Really disappointing as we've heard this was a good restaurant, our appetizer took forever to get to the table, the burger was not great, and the pasta was not as the waitress described. I would still recommend the drinks though!

We used Avvino for our wedding catering. Janine was incredibly helpful during the planning process, answered all of our questions, and worked within our budget to create a menu that our guests loved. The food was amazing and a month after our wedding, we are still getting compliments about it. We highly recommend Avvino!
