Avvino catered our wedding, and the food was absolutely spectacular. Our guests are still raving about it! Dinner service was prompt, delicious, and perfectly portioned. I have yet to eat the food here but I have frequented the bar enough to know I would be very happy once I did. The bar s so cozy and welcoming, but the bartenders are even better. Very classy and chill vibes without being to over the top or in your face. It reminds me of how quiet luxury feels, understated but never fails to hit the mark.

Visited because Avvino was on Resy, and I had a platinum credit from AMEX to burn. Had the ribeye cooked medium rare, it was pretty much perfect, a lot of chefs hear medium rare and really just give you medium, but you get what you ask for here. Fingerling potatoes were a great surprise as well, wasn't expecting to be as good as they were. $17 for a glass of Laphroaig is also quite reasonable, so good job there. Finished up with a massive slab of bread pudding, it was delicious and the portion size was meant for 2 people, not bad for $13. Overall I feel like it was a pretty great value for the quality of food and service, which were both excellent. I'm sure I'll be back next quarter!

The only thing that saved our time here was the bartender and the drinks. Great drinks! Unfortunately the food and service were subpar. Really disappointing as we've heard this was a good restaurant, our appetizer took forever to get to the table, the burger was not great, and the pasta was not as the waitress described. I would still recommend the drinks though!

The food was amazing and a month after our wedding, we are still getting compliments about it. We highly recommend Avvino!

We liked that the food was light — you didn’t feel heavy afterward, but the octopus, lamb, and steak weren’t flavorful or anything special. I’ve had more flavorful/complex-tasting food for half the price of our meals.
The atmosphere is nice, but it was a bit odd to be dressed up and see several others in sweatpants and hoodies, and for a few of the waitstaff to dress more casually. I don’t mind that they were, but it made the experience feel less classy/special and therefore overpriced.
We hired AVVINO to cater our wedding and it was a great decision. Janine is so easy to work with and makes the process go very smoothly. We were able to have a nice date night at their lovely restaurant prior to the wedding and we enjoyed every second of it. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and they were able to adjust to any requests we had such as gluten free and vegan/vegetarian. We would highly recommend AVVINO to anyone!

Great food, excellent portion sizes and on the affordable side for an upscale restaurant. Venison curry was excellent, ceviche was great but didn’t like the crisps that came it, lobster & burrata was pretty good too and drinks were great. Service was fast and excellent. Interior design is kind of intriguing, especially with a big photo of Dennis Rodman staring at you in the restroom 😂

Beef Tatare was sour and salty, unlike the sweet flavor you typically get from Asian restaurants. Entrees were not bad but also not my favorite. I can see how some people may find it more enjoyable. But I'd rather pay for something that I can appreciate more for this price so won't be coming again.

Always great food here, and great friendly service. Whether it's just a dinner for two, work dinner for 4, quick snack at the bar or a private dinner downstairs, the service is awesome.
Went here for a girl's night out because we all heard rave reviews. Drinks were delicious! The octopus was very yummy. My friend got the lobster appetizer and the lobster was way over cooked. Then we got our second round of food and it was kind of disappointing. It was good, it just wasn't great especially not for the price. I wouldn't come here again nor would I recommend it to a friend. I got the bone marrow as an appetizer and it was just a let down. A friend got the fettuccine and she said it lacked flavor. The spinach fritters were very good and the dessert was worth it. Service was also lacking, she was very jovial and nice to surrounding tables but then her demeanor would change when she got to our table, as if she was bored. Overall we all wished for a better experience. Would much rather go to chortke or vesper
