I was not impressed with The poor service on several occasions. Standing at The Bar Waiting for service only to several other random People being served while I and My 2 Guests are Patiently waiting . No acknowledgment of any kind from Bartenders as we are all waiting over 10 minutes, finally last we all decided that moment we weren't going to order and left.

Standing right in front the bar. Waiting forever. Someone else came after me and got served.Perhaps they choose who they wanna serve. Maybe the servers only serve those who they think they have a potential to get into their pants; probably they are just racists?Or they are just unorganized. They need to hire professional employees.Other than that you can smell people smoking weed. They lost my business.Went to a straight bar and had a blast. Got served right away less than 5 minutes waiting time and they got much much customers over there than this place. So no excuses saying they got too much customers to serve and can't keep track.I think the unprofessionalism is the exact reason why a lot of gay bars and clubs are closing.

The prices were fair and the drinks were strong, but unless their new aesthetic is “unfinished construction site”, this place needs a lot of work on the atmosphere. It is literally an unfinished construction site with exposed drywall, joists, and wires. Bright LED construction lights are all that illuminate most of the space, which makes parts too bright and other parts just dark. The tables are plastic folding hi-tops which… just come on….Really enjoyed this spot last time I was here a few years back, but if this is the current state, I’m less enthused to return.

Loving the new space. Makes a huge difference. The investment in LGBTQ+ is super appreciated! Service was slower than usual but not a big deal. Would be awesome to have a drag show (or two) in the new open space!

I went there 17 years ago. It was dark, dingy, and depressing. I just went there again on a Saturday night. The outside looks lovely and quite inviting, but the inside hasn't changed. It's still dark, dingy, and looks unfinished. I entered with two others and while it wasn't busy the bartenders made no attempt to welcome new customers and ask what we would like. Poor business practice and a depressing place to go. We finally just left and went over to Roar. I would like to support it, but in 17 years you'd think they would have done something with the interior.

Definitely an all inclusive type of place the Bartenders are amazing and attentive….The best place to be on a Thursday night in Rochester for Karaoke.

Visted from Ithaca, NY. Nice bar, good drink, good people. Was there during the earlier hours and they had buy 2 get 1 free drinks! Will go again next time I am in the area!

I mean it's the Bachelor Forum. I've been going here for at least 14 years now! It's fine just feels like the prices of drinks have gone up and are becoming comparable to the prices in Los Angeles. For a local bar in Rochester it feels a bit pricey. Aside from that it's a great place to hang with friends, play pool or some darts.

It's okay at best. Drinks are basic (spirit and mixer from a gun), no actual cocktail menu. My biggest issue is the bar being under a stalled renovation for 3+ years. Clientele reflects the need for more care and innovation.

Shared their space for vigil after Colorado Springs massacre. Many leaders from political to religious to LGBTQ community. Touching and solemn.

Great little local vibe bar. Stopped in for a drink on a Saturday afternoon after a museum tour. The bartender made one of the best bloody Marys I've ever had. The other people in the bar were friendly and talkative. Great time

While in Rochester, I visited the Bachelor Forum on several occasions. Louis was very conversational and took care of me. Unfortunately, it turns out that my credit card was charged almost an additional $300 total from all my visits. An amount of over $300 is a felony. Louis closed my tab each time so I’m betting he had something to do with the aggressive overcharges. Fortunately, I’m not liable for the amounts. But never again. And if you’re thinking about your maiden visit to this bar, ask to see the itemized tab and pay with cash so that it doesn’t allow Louis to make any unauthorized adjustments to the amount.
