The bagels are great, always fresh and plenty of choices. They do go light on the cream cheese and the vegetable cream cheese is really just carrots. The workers are generally very pleasant and helpful.

I've been going here for years. I love their spinach bagel, which is hard to find elsewhere. Their cream cheese tastes homemade. I also like their day-old bagels for sale too. Which I usually make sure to grab a bag of.

The bagel I’m eating is okay, but much too dense and dry somehow. I asked the gentleman at the counter which ones were fresh, as I usually don’t like a toasted bagel; I just go with what’s fresh out of the oven. He told me in a hostile tone that all their bagels were “made today” and, I’m not joking, visibly rolled his eyes at me. For what it’s worth, the store is not clean and frankly I’m kind of wondering as I type this why I didn’t go next door to Wegs for a mediocre bagel. At least they make some effort to be nice. There are several other family owned bagel joints in this city to choose from.

They really don't seem to like customers. Ask for napkins get 1 single napkin. Barely any cream cheese on the bagel sandwich. Bacon egg and cheese is a microwaved egg with zero flavor and one piece of bacon. The bagels themselves are too dense.

Will not be returning simply because the bagels are sub par. An old friend from Brooklyn who moved to Rochester would compare local Rochester bagels to stale Wegmans hamburger buns. I think bagels etc fit this description.

Younger kid making my breakfast sandwich. He was dabbing salt out of the salt bagel tray and licking it off his finger while locking eyes with me. Then he proceeded to finish making my sandwich bare handed without washing his hands.

Bagel aren't bad, but I thought the gentlemans manner was amusingly poor the first year going, but it never improves and we found a better bagel place and just drive 5 minutes farther.
Kid-friendliness: It's not really.
