The concept is good, and the robot that brings you your food is fun, but the food itself was nothing special. I liked the chicken lotus leaf buns, but the pork/chicken/veggie bao we ordered were kind of dry. The veggie bao was also very strongly fennel(?) flavored which was unexpected. Also, if you order drinks they will be from Mochinut which is in the same building. I liked the honeydew smoothie, but was not prepared for the sugary cereal topping 😅 Overall, it would be cute to stop by if you have kids (they'd love the robot), and the prices are quite affordable, but I don't think we will be back sadly.

The place was nice. Bao Bun, Mongolian Grill, and Mochinut were all in the same spot. We tried the Bao Bun. All you have to do is pick a table, scan the barcode, and order online. The cutest and best part was that the food was delivered by a robot. We had popcorn chicken, chicken potstickers, and an oyakodon rice bowl. To be honest, the only dish we really liked was the popcorn chicken. The dumplings were okay, but the rice lacked spices. Still, I liked the place overall, and the staff was great.

I’m a big fan of buns and soup dumplings, and my boyfriend and I have tried nearly every xiao long bao spot in Rochester. This was our first visit here, but sadly it didn’t meet our expectations.
The juicy bao and spicy xiao long bao looked great online, but the dumplings were dry with no soup inside, and the pork filling didn’t blend well with the bao. The buns and baos were thick and chewy, and the katsudon rice was unexpectedly sweet. The matcha tea also tasted more like sweetened milk than real matcha.
Unfortunately, we likely won’t return.

Pay the fee and tips before ordering and then no service. Self refill water. There was a fly around us when we were eating. No air conditioner. Food are premade and frozen and then cook again. Not recommended for this bao kitchen.

Pretty good overall; buns were fresh and juicy. The soup dumplings could use a little more juice. The pork bao could have used more filling for the meat to bun ratio. I liked the Taiwanese braised beef noodles and the cucumber salad.

They advertise that they’re open till 9 PM. But they stop taking orders for food at 8:30 PM.
Apparently, they don’t want our money. I guess I’ll go somewhere else where they want my money 👎👎

Not a fan of the bao but the fries were really great (sauce needed though)
Food was not good. Edamame was soggy, pork bao were bland and also soggy, and the xiao long bao were literally inedible. When I was eating a xiao long bao, I bit into a weird tasting part and my whole mouth started tingling? I don't even want to know what that was about.
Avoid, frozen bao from trader Joe's are better than this.

Worst Ramen we have ever had. Pork pot stickers were fine. Service pretty much non existent. We have had plenty of ramen throughout the Rochester area and have never tasted ramen this disgusting. Plain and simple it was terrible. The smell of the ramen bowl smelled like urine. No exaggeration. The taste was horrible. We could not finish it. Do not get the ramen. Hoping we do not get food poisoning from it. If you’ve ever been in a nursing home that’s what the ramen bowl smelled like. Zero service. So you can’t even explain to them that the food was bad. First time going hoping for the best. Will never return.

We started with Boba drinks. It was good Bao for all ages. The kids liked the edamame, fried rice and dumplings. The kids loved the food delivered by a robot!

Low quality drop kitchen in the back of a doughnut shop. Bao was overcooked with its 'pork filling' just a normal meatball. Chicken was soggy, generally not worth the price.

We found this restaurant while travelling. It was our first experience with bao, so I don't really have anything to compare it with. However the food was very tasty, and we enjoyed the robot service!
Definitely recommend!

Definitely in the top 3 of worst meals I've ever had. If you enjoy your food completely covered in salt and pepper, with a dash of malt vinegar then you will love this place. Family of 4, $110 bill and had to toss nearly everything we ordered, other than the Mochinut hotdogs and edamame. Service is nonexistent other than the robot that delivers your salt cured food. Apparently if you put sesame seeds on boiled chicken you can call it sesame chicken. Zero sauces for the chicken tenders, dumplings and bao buns; other than soy sauce, malt vinegar and chili oil. Save your money and eat the Mongolian BBQ side or Mochinut. This review does not do the level of distaste this food deserves. Absolutely horrible. The to-go bags are adorable though.
