This has that authentic diner feel, where they cook in front of you on the big flat grill. But it's not authentic diner food. Their breakfast selection was very limited, and they were only willing to accommodate my dietary restriction (yolk intolerance) after refusing and me having no choice but to eat elsewhere. The toast was very low quality and had some strange, overly yellow, not butter, spread on it. Maybe their dinner is better, but I don't see that impacting the service.

It’s been a while where I’ve been pleasantly surprised by a restaurant. Their steak was actually tender and seasoned, their burger is better than bill grays along with their fries, and they nail all the breakfast food. So many places around are 2-3 star restaurants even serving these simple things, but Tings has great prices and food and service. Just wish they were open for dinner hours as well haha!

The food was okay, a little costlier than the diner we usually frequent. We ordered 2 breakfast meals: the first consisted of toast with eggs, fries and sausage, the other meal consisted of shrimps with grits and eggs. The food was tasty but the presentation could be better. The fries looked like a big potato that had been thrown against a wall and then some parts of it cut haphazardly. Coffee is not unlimited. The place also looked very cluttered. It didn’t feel spacious at all. The diner could be better if some of the furniture and the clutter arranged for a better presentation and ambiance.
