We made a reservation for I believe 9 and we ended up early. We got sat right away. No photos of the food because we were both starving. We got the Ribeye with lump blue crab. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. We also had the black grouper dish. A little salty but would eat again. Next time we come back, will just be to try the delicious looking apps and some dessert! Overall good night out.

Best steak I've ever had, and the atmosphere of the place was incredible, though service was a little pushy to get us to order faster (though I will admit we were late for our reservation so I won't judge too harshly on that aspect), and some small elements of polish were a little lacking, some touch up paint on the wall dings would go a long way. Overall though, worth the price, I'll definitely be back.

Our waitress left us due to health issue. Resulted in sommelier/supervisor stepping in to assist. Everything was thrown off, and we never quite got the service we expected. Little things like offering to bring us more pita chips for the crab/lobster fondue, and never bring them, to disappearing for long periods of time, to having to get up and seek help when our steak was cooked improperly. It was extremely disappointing, especially considering it was a rare date night with my fiancé who lives on the west coast. Black & Blue did not show well . Disappointing
Black and blue is one of a kind. Their espresso martinis are the best! Get there early enough to enjoy a cocktail at the bar before your reservation. I got the kansas city strip with a lonster tail and it was delicious. For dessert we had the chocolate torte and let me tell you, it was massive! And delicious! Ambiance was cozy!

Wife and I always try to go to Black & Blue once a year or so. Food and service were always amazing. Last year, steak wasn't as great but figured it was just a one time thing. This past week we went, my medium steak was barely cooked inside. They took it back and cooked it longer, but they just blackened the outside, middle still wasn't done. I ate what I could and it was okay. I understand that these things happen, but if I'm paying $200 for a meal, it needs to be exceptional. Not sure if we'll be back again. The service was still excellent, no fault on them at all.
