I think the staff were lovely and kind and accommodating. However, the food, the sandwich was not good because the bread was so thin and soggy that it felt like I was eating a pile of meat with no bread. Either the bread needed to be twice as thick or maybe toasted, or less liquid topping or good quality bread. I am guessing the bread was just sliced super thin and not toasted and could not hold the sandwich. it was very messy and I forced it down. the meat had a lot of fat on it which also made it not good. I feel bad leaving this review but am hopeful that if the way the bread is made is changed, others will have a much better experience.

I hate to leave bad reviews and will normally avoid leaving a review if it was bad but our experience was so poor today I felt like I needed to leave a review. I had gotten take out from here a few months ago and it was so quiet so when I was back in the neighborhood thought I’d stop in and give them some business. It was dead when we walked in at noon on a Saturday. I ordered latkes and eggs, my mom ordered a cup of soup and a bagel. My order comes out, I finished eating before my moms soup and bagel comes out. The bagel comes and it’s burnt… 15 minutes later another bagel comes out with sliced cream cheese. We were there nearly waiting 40 minutes total for a cup of soup and a toasted bagel, in a dead restaurant. Best of luck to them, the latkes were good but can’t say I’ll be back with how poor the service was.

My son and I went to Boomtown Cafe on Saturday. What a great experience! As good as the food was, the service and hospitality of the staff was even better! My son says it's the best breakfast sandwich he ever had. Looking forward to heading back soon!

My husband and son, Visit this place without me and expressed I needed to go as well. Being that I am so meticulous about where I eat; this Gem was worth every penny spent. I love how the owners were so kind, thoughtful and Pleasant 1st time me visiting and definitely plan on going back to be a regular. I order the French toast topped with strawberries and whipped cream with Turkey and Cosmopolitan omelette and the hibiscus drink nothing like it ever I actually ordered a jug and picked it up the following day! my hubby had Pancakes, mixed fruit bowls and coffee.Love the fact that it was so clean and atmosphere give me vibes of being around family. So don’t hesitate to go visit this wonderful place you’ll be just as excited as me.

I will never get food from here ever again. My boyfriend picked up lunch while I was at work, I got a BLT sandwich and French fries. Let’s just say, McDonald’s French fries were better. The fries were over cooked, it was so gross. And then the BLT wasn’t the best, it might as well be a LT sandwich. I get so upset because who would think to serve someone some overcooked burnt French fries? They serve it and wrap it for you, I don’t want to pay 15 dollars for over cooked burnt fries. Do better next time people.

First time I went was fantastic. 2nd time awful. Mac salad was spoiled and both me and my mom got sick. Took forever for our cold sandwiches to arrive and had to get our own coffee. Won't be back. Also the owner was not truthful in her response to my review..

100% our new place to stop when in Rochester. The owner and staff were immediately attentive and understanding of our needs for our family and our disabled daughter's limitations. They made my older daughter feel comfortable and welcomed. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere. Food was great also. Definitely was what we needed after a stressful trip

Very clean and great atmosphere. The Owner was waiting on us and she is so nice, they opened in the middle of the pandemic and are still trying to get a foothold on the weekend breakfast crowd! So if your looking for good food at a good price and few people, come on over to boomtown!

The owner was there alone, but taking care of everything. She let us know there would be a little wait for food, but it was well worth it. I had a burger and fries. The burger was juicy and delicious, very well prepared. My friends had a tuna melt and a Reuben. They loved theirs as well. We all cleaned our plates and planned to go again the following day. The servings are not large, but the food is really great and prepared perfectly. I definitely recommend Boomtown Cafe for lunch. Next I'm going to try their breakfast.
