Soccer and kickball bar during the summer. Deals are pretty good

Starting positive: The food is pretty good. They have drink options, although the beer selection is mediocre and on multiple occasions flat. But my review is mostly as a Gooner. I tried to go here because it’s supposed to be an Arsenal bar. Most often at Brickwood I see a group of people wearing Arsenal shirts outside trying to figure out where else to go, because Brickwood is definitely closed. They aren’t even open regularly during the hours on their website, let alone for soccer. Arsenal fans need to find a new place. Brickwood, please just post when you’re actually open, and this would a different review. I’ve called the day before when you were definitely open, to see if you’re going to be open. No answer, get it together. Ima find a new spot

I've been to Brickwood a few times. The bar area is spacious along side an intimate dance floor and a nice outdoor area. The pizza hit the spot as a late night snack. Unfortunately, the area is not the safest and the bar can attract fights/ police activity.

Good pizza but servers tend to only pay attention to a certain variety of customers. ?????. Anything with a tan they'll get to eventually.

Asked at 10:05 if the kitchen was open, we were told yes and given a menu. Ordered food at the bar at 10:15, and provided a card to put on file “just in case.” Went out to the patio to wait. The bar got fairly busy after that, so we figured it might be a bit. After ~50 minutes we checked at the bar on the status of our food and were told “an order was never put in and the kitchen is closed now”. The bar staff was friendly enough and this may have just been a miscommunication, but it was overall a very disappointing experience.

Brickwood parking lot is a violent place to be when the bar closes. Despite its location in a residential neighborhood, the bar does nothing about the large groups of people that form in their parking lot and along the street after closing time. Arguments and fights regularly break out with no intervention by Brickwood. They have zero sense of community and zero control of activity on their property. Last night a man was shot multiple times in their parking lot. 8/29/21.

I was walking toward Brickwood on Friday night when I saw a customer punch another man and knock him unconscious. As the victim was lying in the street, near moving cars and bleeding profusely, Brickwood's bouncer approached bystanders and told them not to help him. The bouncer allowed the assailant to return to the bar, which prevented EMT from responding, as EMT did not want to approach a dangerous location without a police escort and the police could not respond in a reasonable amount of time. The victim sat on a sidewalk nearby, covered in blood and barely able to move or speak. About forty-five minutes later, my friend walked the victim to a fire truck which had parked about two blocks away. As my friend walked back toward Brickwood, the bouncer and a man who may have been a friend of the assailant asked us what we saw. My friend lied, saying that he saw nothing, as he suspected that the bouncer was trying to protect himself, but did say that the guy was in bad shape. As we turned our backs to them and began walking away, both men laughed hysterically. I have no idea what the victim might have said or done before being punched. I have no reason to defend him. Still, I am bothered that the bouncer did not seem to mind the escalating violence. Even worse, he urged bystanders not to help the victim and allowed the assailant back into the bar, which prevented EMT from responding for almost an hour. I will never go to Brickwood again.

Gathering spot for events like DJ Trivia leagues. The honey/pep pizza was very tasty if somewhat messy. Large crowd having fun. Outdoor seating.
