Walked past this establishment for the first time in a minute and saw they were closed. Tbh, thank goodness. I worked here while in college. While the sushi here seemed great, behind the scenes the owner made working there unsuitable for the 21st century. Behind the back wall the area is practically one big fire hazzard, with water boilers he let his kids play with unsupervised. I'm saying, I was regularly told his opinion on everyone of my female colleagues body's and what he thought they could do with them, or what he would do to them; I walked out after many days of abuse and finally being scolded for throwing away bubble tea lid cups that had fallen on the dirty ground (instead of serving them). It goes on. The worst was when he used the word, 'gorilla,' to describe to me a mother of color who he witnessed correcting her child. For a long time I didn't post anything because he has a wonderful family (a hardworking wife who is too good for him and always made up for his in appropriate brutishness) and I didn't want to possibly jeopardize their wellbeing because of him. But it seems I didn't have to do anything for this establishments model to fail. I wish I had spoke up sooner. Now you all know for if it ever opens. And if you ever buy shrimp sashimi, know that each of those shrimp pieces cost the owner around $.30.
Got all worked up to get a tea for my wife. Go there significantly before closing just to realize the place is TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Not even a notice stating when exactly they'll be back in business. SMH.
Delicious food and drinks, friendly staff, nice dining area, reasonable prices. Love this place!
Delicious sushi, smoothies and bubble teas! Love this place!
Th sushi is good. I dont know what happened but the mango and kumquat lemon bubble tea taste like way too much bergamont or something. Almost taste like how I think detergent would taste. Cant even drink it.
Best poppi g bubbles in town! Sushi is great and very open romantic setting. We will be back over and over
The sushi is so fresh and so good.
A favorite spot for my wife and I. Love their drinks, some of the best quality boba we've had around town. And the sushi is delicious, so far the best we've had in Rochester, and super affordable.
Sushi and drinks were so good and well priced!!
Such yummy bubble tea, the sweetness is just right and the workers are always kind
Restaurantji Recommends
Bubble Fusion is my wife’s and my favourite sushi restaurant in Rochester. We were faithful customers every week for 2 years before we moved out of state. The staff are very nice and welcoming and the quality of the sushi is always fresh. We love their bubble tea and the passion fruit flavour is our favourite. Highly recommend this place whether it is for sit down or take out.
The location is easy to spot but parking can be a bit hard to find. They serve sushi, bubble tea, and other various products. The ambiance is also very relaxing with great decor. This is a cool spot for sushi and drinks if you want to try something new. I highly recommended this place. Must try!!
I hadn’t realized that one of the sushi rolls contained something I was allergic too and the staff was so nice! They remade my roll and didn’t give me any trouble. They are always so nice, the service is speedy, and the food and tea is great!!
I go here almost everyday for a drink and sometimes get sushi. Amazing service and great sushi..the strawberry milk bubble tea is my absolute fav!!!! It's a must try place!
If you're looking for a boba tea place that will actually offer low/no sugar alternatives, this is the place to be. I tried the coffee milk tea and the matcha tea. Neither had a lot of sugar in it, which I personally think is hardly a bad thing. Most bubble teas I've had in Rochester were always overly sweetened, even when outright asking for low/no sugar.Even the tapioca pearls did not appear to be sweetened with the typical brown/black sugar syrup you find in most places. Some might not like that, but I hardly miss its absence. As for the sushi rolls, they're all right but a bit expensive.
