Haven't been there in years since I moved away from park and east Aves but love their coffees and ice coffee shakes. ? but they closed the one in Pittsford on main St, and I don't get to eat ave in the city very often.

Best frozen hot cocoa I've ever had. Ambiance is always warm and inviting, service is very attentive and friendly as well. Whether I want to energize for the day or wind down, I love having Canaltown in the neighborhood as my go to coffee shop.

I love my visits to Canaltown. It’s a tranquil little coffee shop with 8-10 tables. A great place to spend alone or catch up with friends.I ordered a frozen hot chocolate and a cut out cookie that was too good to wait to take the picture!

This place oozes old school cool with a wall of vintage bean dispensers right as you walk in! The baristas are friendly and made me one of the best lattes I've ever had! Really looking forward to going back for beans and another latte next time I'm in the city.

OMG! Peter, the owner was roasting when we walked in. It smelled heavenly. He spent a lot of time chatting with us about his experiences with roasting coffee. My wife and I shared a large cup of Rochester's Favorite & two pieces of pie. Very delicious! A great place to stop and refresh!

My husband ordered a cappuccino which was not very sweet at all and I ordered a mocha that ended up just being steamed milk and coffee and no mocha flavoring and quite bitter. Would not recommend this place at all for good flavored coffees.
